Remarks :
Jagran College of Art's Science and Commerce is well-reputed and one of the good colleges of commerce in the Kanpur region. Proper classes of each subject and well-trained teachers are there. They also provide doubt clearing sessions before any examination. The college conducts internal examination for BCom students which is quite a rare thing in annual based course. The strictness level of teachers is quite low and you can easily bunk a class which is not a good thing at all. Teachers are soo helpful and friendly in nature they can mostly help you with study-related problems. The college has a cafeteria but no fancy brand and has a big playground with separate courts for different sports and a separate basketball court. One thing I dont like about my college is the security. They are large in numbers but are soo friendly which not a good thing. And the best thing about my college is the annual festival which takes place once in two years. The college organises alot of competitions, seminars.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I did BCom from the college cause I need to focus on my competition classes. The ratio of teachers and student 1:50. The faculty members and teachers are quite professionals and have good teaching methods they conduct extra classes whenever it is needed and sometimes they personally help the students separately. They clear your doubts in their free time in the library. The examination in BCom is yearly based because the college is affiliated with Kanpur University but the college is also conducting the internal examination for Bcom and BA students which is quite easy to pass but the difficulty level in the main examination is a bit high is conducted by the Kanpur University.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no internships for BCom students. But the college offer an internship program for BBA students. I dunno much about the internship program because it is offered to BBA students and I'm was from BCom. But some of my friends told me it's in the sales, finance and marketing sector whichever they wanna do.
Placement Experience :
The chances of getting placement after BCom are quite low because there is no proper placement cell in the college for BCom students they can give interviews to few companies which are come for BBA students. You can barely get a package of 240000 Rs. I'm doing masters in commerce which can lead to better options.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for BCom in my college is quite more if compared with other colleges but I think college infrastructure and activities do justice with fee. My fee for BCom was Rs 10000 in my first and second year and Rs12000 for my third year. Now it is Rs 12000 yearly. The college can help you to get the scholarship provided by the State government which is up to Rs 8000. So your net fee will be around 4k-5k if you got your scholarship. The college can provide the facility of part payment of the fee but you need to convince them alot.
Campus Life :
The best part of my college is the annual fest amd and the social life in the college. I must say the culture and social life in the college is best among the commerce college in the Kanpur region. The college organises alot of competitions, seminars, weekly activities apart from the Annual Fest kalanjali which happen once in two years. The annual festival is soo good and a 3-day festival having alot of different activities and competitions with a Dj night. The college also conducts an annual sports meet and it further gives you the option of representing your college in other colleges. You can also play district level or state level if you got selected in the University team. The college helps you to take part in the festivals and competitions organized by other institutions. Antragni by IIT Kanpur and youth fest by csjmu are some of them.
Other Applied Colleges

I need to pursue my classes for competitive exams so i choose bcom.
