Remarks :

Rank in JEE Mains was one of the major reasons for me choosing this particular college. The best thing about this college is the experienced faculty that is being associated with it. The addition of the current modern knowledge prevailing in the industry in the course and the removal of knowledge that has become obsolete would definitely improve the quality of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Mechanical department has one of the most experienced and well qualified faculty in the college. Almost all the professors are Ph.D. holders. Their teaching method is based on old school which is being affiliated to books and also the curriculum is old which really deprives the students of modern knowledge that is the updations being made in their field of interest. Thus more steps need to be taken to make students ready for industry by improving the labs and thus providing the practical knowledge of modern machines that are being present in the industry.

Placement Experience :

On-campus placement facilities have been on a decline in 2019 due to recession in the country. About 40% of the students got placed. The highest package being offered was Rs 7 lacs and the average being Rs 4 lacs in which recession was one of the prime reasons for such a lower package. In 2018, the highest package offered was Rs 16 lacs and the average package was around Rs 7 lacs. The top recruiting companies that visit the college are Hero, Exxon mobile, Tata, and Maruti Suzuki. Also, competitive exams like GATE ESE, CAT, and IAS are another very popular paths of Interest of various students.

College Events :

The college every organizes its annual functions in which many more celebrities arrive there. Alumni meet, Sports meet, Cultural fest, Nirman, Kavi sammelan etc. are the basic programmes of this college. Students also visit to another college and university for the different fest and sports. We are provided with well-equipped laboratories for different subjects. The university opens a lot of chances to succeed in different courses in life. It depends on the students whether they choose technical or non-technical areas. Professor takes the students to the different sites for the evaluation of the particular project.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good in my college. In 5 semesters students started becoming eligible for campus placement. The companies visited TCS, reliance, Zomato, Kota Bank, Infosys, Ola, OYO, uber, Amazon etc The highest ever package received by students in the college of my course is 800000. lakhs rupees. Per annum. 40-50%students get placement in my college. My plan after college is to preparation for the CAT exam. Get into a top college for MBA.

Hardships Of Having a Remote college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The terms were on time mostly and it was easy to pass if we were attending lectures and assignments on time as it is a practical based course rather than much based on theory. The teachers were helpful in most of the scenarios but some subjects were not handled properly as the faculty teaching it used to keep changing. Rest mostly all of the teachers were good.

Dei make their students a better human being first.

Placement Experience:

More specifically if I am talking about placement is that if you want to get good placements in dei that you must maintain your sgpa at least 8 points for you to appear in the placement cell. There are many companies visited in college like torrent power for electrical branch and other for their respective branches. Around 60% of students get their placements through college and it also depends on students' ability and skills. Since I am in the 4th semester so yes from 3rd year students get their training or internship through college to students with good grades. So you must have to maintain at least 8 sgpa for better placements.

Amazing college!

Admission:

To get admission, I had to first fill application form and then pay a small fee for applying to the college, then after submitting the marks scored in 10+2, students were called for a campus interview upon which the students were selected.

The placement opportunities are quite limited, but these opportunities will be increased within the upcoming years, there is high competition among the students to acquire the placements.

Engineering in the city of Gods

Remarks:

The one thing which is deteriorating the Masters level education in India is the double-mindedness of most of the GATE aspirants. Those with lower ranks join institutes of national importance such as ours just for the sake of the monthly stipend and the time they would get for GATE preparation. Such students waste the opportunity for someone else who is really interested in research, but could not get there due to low GATE score. It is high time that we prioritize our needs and act accordingly; it can only boost the research temperament among the student community.
