Remarks :

BCM College is a women's college and is located in the center of Kottayam district. The College, in every sense, offers the best education for the students. Results are very good for the students and the institution also shapes the future of students in a better way. It aims at educating the women and offering them independence.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course syllabus is made by MG University. Examinations are semester based and internal exams are also there. The faculties are very friendly and talented. They provide us with the best education. Dr. Teena Anna Thomas, faculty of the Department of English is one of the best teachers in BCM.

Class Size : 21Course Fees : INR 1500 per year

Placement Experience :

Placement Cell in the college works effectively. More than 10 companies visit annually for recruitment process. The highest package has been up to 65 LPA. Many talented students gain better placements. A number of students also join for higher education soon after completing the degree course.

College Events :

The campus life is too good here in BCM College. There are many events organised by the college. Special occasions are celebrated in a grand way with many programs. Students are given chance to express their talents. Intercollegiate fests are annually organised with a lot of participants.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are many scholarship facilities for the students. Post matric minority scholarship, University merit scholarship and Suvarna Jubilee Merit scholarship are the important scholarship facilities. Other than that, there are Grants to the deserving students. SC/ST/OBC students are provided with enough Grants.

Campus Life :

BCM College is provided with best infrastructures. The college library is well maintained with more than about 54000 books and a lot of journals. Library is computerized with e-cataloging. There are sports facilities, medical facilities, Gymnasium, cafeteria, a large auditorium and canteen.

My college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum contains a vast area of nursing aspects and they include OSKI as a new component of the nursing curriculum which prepares as well enough to face the job interviews ahead. But the time limit is so short that we find it difficult to complete the syllabus on time. As the syallabus has changed to semester system we are expected to write exams more frequently but that is good as it helps as to improve our writing skills.

A better place for a better carrier

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course mainly because of the job opportunities. There is plenty of teaching and non-teaching staff in the college. All the teaching staff has Mastered nursing and all are very talented teachers. The teaching method is lecturing and av aids are also used by the teachers like projectors. The exams are conducted after the completion of each unit. It's an average tough exam to score good marks. The only problem is that exams will be conducted daily and the personal behavior of some staff may vary from person to person.
