Remarks

My brother is from dav College so I choose this.I choose this because many students recommended me to join it due to good management and staff and curriculum. Good library. Good for average students only.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good and up to date. The academic is also good for industrial exposure. The IT faculty and staff is all over good. Good for average students. I really like the way of teaching. My brother tell me all details.

MANY IT companies visit college and took all the students in bulk and shortlisted few students. Also private banks come to hire the students. Company like mehindra also comes. You will get placed any company before completion of your course.

College Events

Campus life is different from all other colleges. There campus are is very small because college is on both side of the road. There is a road in the college. Computer labs are neat and clean. College arrangement many events every year. College hold much trophies then other colleges

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is very good. The design of the college look like as old building but it is not very nice. There is AC class rooms but they are also not hot. Fans are available all the time. You can enjoy.

Course curriculum is not well oriented by the officials Things we need to know for doing patients are not well taught bcoz that's is what we need for MDS (post graduation) so they donot teach them now Which is wrong So according to me Clinical stuff and practicals should be more concetrated on instead of theoretical study There need to be a mid term exam conducted likewise in MBBS for better preparation Proper test which are not regularly conducted should be there Teachers need to be hired Posts for teachers are vacant Teaching staff needs to teach students instead of pgs

Overall university is nice but i would suggest to opt for government colleges if you are looking in Chandigarh

Placement Experience:

In last year means in semester 5th , amity offers placements. Companies visited was amazon, Google, microsoft , airtel , flipkart , deloitte and adobe in 2023. Package:- highest 10 lakh per annum and average was 5-6 lakh per annum offered by deloitte and hdfc 8000+ students got placements. My plans after the degree are Ma in clinical psychology from abroad.

Its is good college in terms of money and their atmosphere

Placement Experience:

Our college is not so good in terms of placement. Our college is not tied up with the MNC for the placements of the students. Mostly sales-related jobs are offered in the placements. The highest package offered by our college is approx 7 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA. According to my point of view, only 15 to 20 percent of students can get jobs.

Life at GMC Patiala

I chose this as it is one of the well-known colleges for mbbs in Punjab. 10:225, Faculty, are postgraduates. With an experience of more than 5years mostly. At the end of the year, there were exams that are a bit difficult to pass.
