Remarks :

After Neet exam it depends on your score whether you get a college of your choice or not. So I got this college based on score and ranking and I was happy to be here, study and pursue medicine in a college nearby. On the day of orientation I realised faculty of this college is very good and experienced so it would be great to learn from good teachers. There's equal focus on both theoritical and practical knowledge as well. There are 4 turf grounds on the campus for the students to relax and play if they are stressed out.Hostel facilities are good for students. I always wanted to be a good doctor and help people I knew it takes lot of hard work, dedication and patience to commit yourself to when a course sounds too difficult but I was always driven right from the beginning to study in a medical college and gain all the knowledge I need to help people and I found this course very interesting and challenging.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Couse syllabus when it comes to mbbs is very vast and never ending it's always like you'll be dealing with lots of concepts given in these books but throughout the course we've to retain the most important points from all these things and not the extra knowledge. Everything that could help us in diagnosis and interaction with patients and understand their difficulties. We do study those subjects in detail too cause we've to crack our postgraduate exams to get a better post after mbbs. The faculties in our college are good and experienced understanding concepts and learning from them is one thing I like about this college.

Placement Experience :

After mbbs there's no such thing as placement because you study for your post graduate exam and after completing that you may start your own clinic, work as a doctor in hospital or be a surgeaon on the basis of your post graduation. Anyone who has completed the course can apply and additional points can be added to make their CV good which includes working for Rotaract club made by medical students and MSAI India which is medical association of students conducting various seminars and useful important sessions also taking part in research activities conducted by ICMR.

College Events :

So we have only 1 college festival every year which is Aakanksha it's a 15days long fest which comprises of sport events,Medical conference and cultural Events (Dance, fashion show etc, talent competition).People enjoy this fest as it's a boon for medical students cause they are always busy and have a hectic routine so this helps to reduce stress and interact with people so as to have fun together. I have participated in medical conference and various sports activities in college.

Campus Life :

Campus to be honest is not that huge as it's a medical college and a hospital too we've got one main building for college and one for hospital. As for sports our college has 4 turf grounds on campus.Every year there's a fest conducted for the students when people from all the year unite together and have fun get to learn new things from experienced speakers etc.Wifi is not available for student use.Equipments in the lab are good too as our course focus more on practical aspect that is must.

Hostel Facilities :

I've not opted for hostel so don't have much idea about it but I think tha facilities are decent cause the rooms are good. Students often face problems regarding food but there are lot of restaurants or places nearby where you can get home made food.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As every Diploma passing student enters to degree college same process I went through. The faculty of the college are well educated and hardworking. As a student, you have to reach out to your faculty and maintain a good relation with them to get constant support from them. the ratio is 25:1. The teaching method of professors is very professional. Exams are as per the government regulations and the difficulty level is moderate for general students.

Remarks:

I love my college as the way it is, wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

Admission:

I was earlier classed into the pool of NRI students as I had completed my 10th and 12th graduation from abroad. I however did not want to register as an NRI student and wrote the MH-CET which is the state entrance exam and the field under which I chose it was engineering. I managed to attain a good rank and get admission into my required branch and field at Symbiosis Institute of Technology. I attempted the MH-CET exam some time around the beginning of May. I chose the course of Electronics and Telecommunication as it particularly interested me and the main interest in Symbiosis was generated through the fact that one of my cousins had studied there and overall I had heard a lot about Symbiosis especially in the Pune circle. The steps required in this process were i) Application through the Symbiosis Admission Portal ii) Attachment of all relevant documents for verification iii) A counselling session in which all the ranked candidates where invited and offered seats iv) A final verification and admission confirmation

Admission process was through DTE. CAP rounds were scheduled before which we have to fill our all details and get it verified at ARC centre with original documents. Then fill the option form, and wait for the results. I got selected in cap round after which I confirmed my admission at the college.
