The couse follows CBME pattern, it is the same nationwide. I was not influenced by someone or something. I wanted to pursue this degree since school. College really prepares you to interact with the outside world. You'll interact with many patients in wards as well as in campus. Taking to different kinds of people and observing a number of patients will lead to your growth onky. Exams are a bit too much on your mental and physical health. But if you're going to be a doctor. This much will need to be sacrificed

Course curriculum is decided by the university, and college follows it in their own ways. The curriculum has 4 years of studying and practival learning with one year of paid internship. During the four years, all aspects of medical science is taught and post internship, one emerges as a well qualified doctor. Exams are held frequently and are of moderate difficulty level

Our college strictly followed the latest competency-based curriculum devised by NMC. So we get all standard curriculum. The only problem all medical students face is theory lectures are on PPT forms which Sometimes becomes longer.

Service to the society is the factor of the decision making. The curriculum provides a great exposure to the people who are in need of treatment which helps us to communicate with the society. The syllabus is really huge so I think the duration of course should be alter a little bit. The exams should be more practical idea based.

I had a dream of becoming a doctor and serving the people of my country. So I applied for the exam and luckily got admission to one of the prestigious colleges with 150 years of alumni. The faculties are very nice and exams are held every week.

MBBS is a tough course. One has to study very hard to pass the exams. From childhood, I wanted to be a doctor so that I can save a lot of lives. so I chose this course. The faculty are abundant in number. The class strength is 250. In the first year, we have 3 subjects and each department has around 15 teachers. So total there are about 45 teachers taking care of 250 students. All the faculties are highly qualified. At least all of them have an M.D. degree. in their respective subject. Teaching methods include lectures through power points and in practical classes the teacher will pay special attention to each and every student. There are many term exams. Two major term exams occur in one year and 1 final proff. exam occurs at the end of the year and passing is tough actually.
I want to be a doctor. This college has a decent professor-student ratio. They will guide you properly. Every department is good and all teachers are friendly enough to hear your problems out and give a proper solution to them.
Becoming a doctor requires a general lne MBBS, so took it. faculty: student ratio like 1:50 The faculty is well-trained but very sluggish. don't come usually to college Term exams are timely and it's quite difficult as AIIMS comes to interview
All the professors are highly qualified & experienced with excellent teaching quality. The institution is more than 100 years old with renowned alumni. They are always helpful & available for the students. Faculty: Student Ratio is approximately 1:10. Exams are held at regular intervals in the form of Internal semesters. Question Papers of Semesters are set quite at per standard level. Professional exams are held every year for each batch. The students get well versed in the field as a result of it.
Getting an MBBS seat in India that too in a government college is itself a blessing. I decided to persue MBBS because of my inner calling. There are 250 students in one batch which makes it a little crowded but for convenience, a batch is further divided into 4 groups A B C & D to make practical classes more convenient. But for lectures, whole batch attends it together, for the first year it takes place in Sister Nivedita Large Lecture Theatre which is air-conditioned and spacious equipped with a speaker and mic so the size of the class is not an issue. As per exams are considered , NRS is way mor strict as compared to other medical colleges of kolkata , here attendance is strict and exams are taken regularly.
