Remarks

The vicinity of the college near my house, good transportation system availability, Good reputation of college, and also its huge campus which provides tons of opportunites and facilites to the students made me choose this college

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum keeps updating but still lags behind in providing the knowledge and concepts related to the latest technology, the faculties are well qualified and teach perfectly what there is in the syllabus, they encourage you to participate in different events, and workshops. My mechancis proffessor Ninad was very good and cheerful.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 123784 per year

Placement Experience

The placements here decent, quite a few number of companies come and give very low packages but its still better than most of the other colleges here. Most of the students opt for higher studies.

College Events

There are lot of events, workshops, conferences and fests organised all over the academic year and there's a great atmosphere. People here are ready to help you in your work and you can make friends who are your seniors. They guide you to become better and excel in your fields by inviting you to different events and helping in your project work.

College campus is the most beautiful thing and is favorite among the students
College culture, the amount of events and extra curriculars offered are unbeatable.
The learning facilities are top notch, from labs to classrooms everything is great.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have completed degree in Computer science with Al and analytics as specialization, considering that the course is very relevant and industry specific, there are often industry visits and mentor sessions to learn real time. The exams are conducted thrice every semester two exams are of 20 marks each and final is of 60 marks, the diffculty level is easy to moderate and it also varies student to student.

What ISDI is like

Likes

The college has excellent infrastructure and management.
Teachers are a hit or miss. There’s mostly rookie teachers for the first years but as you select your specialization, you’ll only be dealing with a specific set of teachers. Some of them are extremely experienced and some are okay-okay.
The college has excellent industry connections. There’s no better place to network as a student in Mumbai. They have people visiting from all over the world and master classes and talks occurring every now and then.

Dislikes

They’ve increased their intake of students massively. The campus is becoming way too crowded for so many people. They’ve expanded campus into some floors in the hostel which is right across the street.
Everything in the college is slowly getting more and more expensive. They charge large unnecessary fines for things like not bringing your hall ticket or a new ID card or for exam rechecking.
Canteen is wayy too expensive for students like us

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are very good and they have people coming from a diverse range of companies. I am a second year student so I don't know about the exact packages. I plan to identify my strengths by 4th year and get a job in that sector.

Likes

The classrooms are okay

Dislikes

Faculty, their attitude, the impact they put on kids

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I don't think it's all that great. The faculties don't care enough. They don't provide quality education and have no helping nature. The exams were kept online after the covid-19 conclusion because they have taken some code-tantra subscriptions. They compromise the quality of education for their benefit and aim at earning money.

I had applied for Thakur college of engineering which was the nearest to my house and also in St. Francis college of engineering. I think Thakur could have been a better option but due to my less percentile I had to go in Athrava and that too management category. The only thing I liked about my college is its aimbience and vibe it gives you a vibe of a decent yet somewhat modern college. The admission process was seamless no difficulty faced at all.
