Remarks :

The BM course of XIMB is quite reputed, and it gives the option to experience all specializations in the first year and then choose the specific major in the second year. This gives a holistic view of all the domains. XIMB has several clubs and committees and celebrates fests and B-School events quite lavishly.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is quite rigorous, especially the first term, which I feel is somewhat necessary to build successful managers of the future. The faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. We have guest lecturers and motivational speakers. Various B-School competitions are organised in XIMB campus.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 455000 per year

Placement Experience :

In 2020, XIMB had the highest domestic package of 26LPA, and median salary stood at 15LPA. We had 55 new recruiters among 107 total recruiters. We even saw a rise in the summer placements statistics from 2019. Median stipend for summer placement was 70k.

College Events :

Infrastructure and hostel are good. However, hostels are not air-conditioned and mostly use the common washroom, except a few. Classrooms, Labs, Auditorium are air-conditioned and well-equipped with modern facilities. Lush green campus is located at close proximity to the airport, bus stop and train station.

The college is very good for the students approaching for the Bpt course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From childhood, I wanted to treat the people having pain.And when i came to know about physiotherapy ,I choose this course as it is the way to treat patients without drugs. The faculty student ratio is much not different. It is approximately 1:20. Most of the faculties are MPT and Ph.D holders.The college is run under Utkal University. The couse has total 8 semesters.

NIT Rourkela: The Blazing Ground for Opportunities.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the last year of their completion of the course, although most of us got the PPO (Pre Placement Offer) before the campus placement at the end of our internships. This year (2022) 325 companies visited for campus placements and a total of 1,274 offers were made. The highest CTC offered was up to 46 lakhs rupees and the average CTC offered is 11.2 lakhs rupees for the software, core and analytics companies combined. Some of the companies which offered the handsome packages are Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Oracle. Overall approx 93 per cent of students are placed during this year's campus placements.

After 3rd semester you will get the chance to opt for placement. This college doesn't provide much placement but it's better than other government colleges. As there is a lockdown since 2020, this year students didn't get much chance for placement.
