Remarks :

Having an interest in photography and the digital world to entertainment already i decided to opt this college because of its good reputation in the field i was going for,the faculty and ambience stands up to its name.I must mention that there were issues with certain topics as some classes had air conditioning and some didn't which made the students have a hard time during the summers here.Every year around August the new admissions come in and start their year immediately.I would prefer this college for its faculty over infrastructure because every teacher is as good as they can get.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because it was closest to my line of interest and it was not amongst the cliched subjects people graduate with.I must say the the faculty is very good because they let you interact with them in an informal way,the queries and problems of every student is heard and respected. exams were held timely and as long as you have practical knowledge and know what you are studying it is very easy to pass

Class Size : 27Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The current internship i am in is a content writer in college dunia which is 3 month internship with a stipend of 3k per month

Placement Experience :

From semester 3 the students become eligible for internships which will be provided via batch coordinator My personal plan is to get a job at BUZZFEED for a video editor and move outside and settle there

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees can be paid via different plans(semester, yearly) I am still pursuing my Bachelor in Media Science degree over there and have been provided with an internship of collegedunia as a content writer

Campus Life :

My college has a lot of activities apart from just studying,our annual fest which is Y COMM is a large media fest which stretches for 3 days Books will not be provided by the college but there is a library with an excellent collection of whatever you need to know about, apart from that the faculty will recommend some books to study from There are different clubs which each individual has to get oriented in and stay active

Interview Experience :

Yes we did have an admission test and an interview for the admission which was very easy as long as you have a little bit of knowledge you have gained from your own curiosity you are good to go.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

Remarks:

This college still today stands to be among the first choice of every student in the hooghly district and 2nd in the Burdwan University. The only negative part is that this college has a very high political presence in the campus. Though the present government said that they oppose such strong political holds in colleges but still this words has not been kept.
