Dheerya Mehta's Review On Netaji Subhas University Of Technology - [NSUT], New Delhi

Remarks :

I heard that the electrical branch is the best branch in college. The best things are that teachers in this branch are very supportive. Labs will be improved, and the classes are also improved. The course material should be of advanced level. Two fests are conducted in a year, one in December, i.e, Encarta presented By CS Department, and other in March, i.e, Innovarious.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Teachers here are qualified and knowledgeable as they came through government exams and are of professor level. They are very helpful. Because of the electrical HOD, the faculty are very strict and very helpful, so every teacher has pressure. But in other departments, teachers are not that helpful. All teachers have at least teaching experience of 5 years. The course material is excellent. It is a practical-based course and makes us industry-ready.

College Events :

The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs have many engineering items but do not work properly. In our labs, there is also supercomputers. Classrooms are not that clean, and they are very dusty. We have a common library for all branches. The library is in good condition. The quality of the food served is average, neither that good nor that bad, and the charges are Rs. 2,400 per month. Hostel rooms are very bad. There are very dusty rooms and not that clean. Rooms quality is also bad.

Campus Life :

Almost 3 persons live in a room which is very small, so many students live outside by taking a room at high charges. The hostel fee is almost 10,000 per year. In the hostel, there is always fighting. Medical facilities are not provided. There is no hospital/dispensary in college/hostel. Canteen is in average condition. Canteen food is not that good. The seating facility is also not available in the canteen. Grounds for playing sports and games are in good conditions. But students do not have the opportunities to play at the state level because the administration does not take care of this.

Placement Experience:

Placement of college is very poor only 5-10 percent of students placed in our batch. From the 7th semester, students are eligible for college placements. There are e-rickshaw manufacturing companies visiting the college and a low level of packaging is offered. The highest package is about 5lakh per year and the average package is 2-3 lakh offered by companies. Only 10% of students placed. My plan is to get a good job after my degree.

Placement Experience:

STUDENTS BECOME ELIGIBLE FROM THE END OF THE 5TH SEMESTER GENERALLY TO SIT FOR THE PLACEMENT AND FROM THE 3RD SEMESTER TO DO ANY KIND OF INTERNSHIP. MANY REPUTED COMPANIES LIKE WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, JARO VISITED COLLEGE FOR PLACEMENT AND THEY PROVIDE 3-7 LPA PACKAGES TO THE STUDENTS. THE HIGHEST PACKAGE IS 8 LPA AND THE AVERAGE PACKAGE IS 4 LPA. ALMOST 35-45% GET PLACEMENT IN THEIR DREAM COMPANY. MY PLAN IS TO PURSUE MBA IN MARKETING AFTER COMPLETING THE DEGREE

It's closer to my college and I got the course that I wanted. And had a good faculty and the canteen is also good. Overall my college was good and also due to high cut offs most of the better colleges shutter their admission after 1st List.
