Remarks :

It is one of the best in Delhi. It ranks after some of the prestigious institutes in Delhi and it is a government college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I love electronics. I want to do mechanical things. While for that the infrastructure is not that good but it's okay. Faculty members are very supportive. They see us as their child for our overall academics. As well as cultural performances that are a great thing to have.

Class Size : 70

Placement Experience :

Off campus is good as it only depends on students' performance. About on campus, the average is the package is around 5-6 lakhs per annum. The highest packages are 36lakhs per off-campus and 18 lakhs for on campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is payable one time which is 70,000 per annum. The scholarship is available to the students who are good in academics. Various government and as well as private scholarships are available.

Campus Life :

The campus is very very beautiful. The infrastructure is built at it's best. There's a very good amount of open space present on the campus. Green lush is all around.

A real review from heart

Placement Experience:

Placement of college is very poor only 5-10 percent of students placed in our batch. From the 7th semester, students are eligible for college placements. There are e-rickshaw manufacturing companies visiting the college and a low level of packaging is offered. The highest package is about 5lakh per year and the average package is 2-3 lakh offered by companies. Only 10% of students placed. My plan is to get a good job after my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quite complete in the sense that all the basics are provided but can definitely be improved in providing specializations. The teachers are helpful and willing to share their knowledge and experiences and are extremely supportive outside the class if the need be. Industrial exposure is good however, one need to ask the management for the arrangement of industrial trips which may not occur otherwise. The placements at Jamia have been improving year by year. There are some highly reputed companies coming on campus and the packages are competitive.

Internships Opportunities:

I interned at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. which was unpaid. I was able to avail the internship through a competition which is organized by MSIL every year and of which Jamia is one of the best participants.

Remarks:
