Remarks :

One the Old and prestigious university, I ambition is to do my post graduation in this university, and agriculture is back bone of country, and i choose my masters in the faculty of agriculture and department of agronomy, in my faculty all methodology are partical oriented and transforming the farm education to the students and hand's on experience with live practical class conducted at both lab and farm level

Course Curriculum Overview :

Currently based syallbus is on going, we frequently visit industrial visita eg sugar mills, bio fertilizer units, research station, our faculties are very good friendly persons, My chairman is my mentor

Course Fees : INR 93000 per year

Placement Experience :

Very good alumini networking and they offering many types of companies to placement this are arranged by placement cell, they arrange a job affairs a month before the exam to get a well settled, for students.

College Events :

Unmemorable moments during my pg students, They wont miss cultural, sports events like pongal celebration traditionally, sporag as intercollege, intra college tournaments sports events like, football, volleyball kabbadi etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes they provide students scholarship for both ug and pg students its is based on category scholarship amount will vary a minimum of 70000 should be applicable for a students, they also education loans

Campus Life :

Alll are good and well equipped with wifi facilities, good infrastructures, one of the asia's largest library is here in our faculty each and every department and course has a separate laboratory, helping assistant, and eaceand every faculty in our university has separate lab, library

Hostel Facilities :

Good room facilities and dinning, annually need to pay 50000 for both food and accompaniedation in mess they prodive both veg and non veg in good quality and quantity of foods to students on correct timing.

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

Students starting placed from their last semester. Reputed companies gave an offer. Like tcs, Accenture, Infosys, etc. The highest package will be 60k and minimum 25k. 98% got placed before completing the degree. 55% above is the minimum for placement if you want to be placed in a high package of salary Job.

SASTRA College Life- An Amazing Experience

Admission:

I got the Admission in this college based on 12th marks and Jee main. i got Jee main score of 130 and 12th marks of 95%. so based on this they will ready a common Merit list and publish the All India ranks. based on your AIR , you will be called for counseling. You have to go to the SASTRA campus, on your allotted counselling date and time and Book the Branch of your choice. This is the Admission process

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Curriculum is really good it's on par with Bits and Nit syllabus. It's well designed to both suit the students needs and also equip them well with the basic fundamental concepts which can further strengthen their core concepts knowledge . moreover , the syllabus is designed in such a way that it covers 85% of gate exam syllabus. so we can also appear for gate exam immediately after completing our course. The Exam structure is based on conceptual learning. one has to be well equipped with concepts in order to pass in the exams. We must not mug up at any point of time as SASTRA exams will test your concepts rather than ur memory capacity. It will have 3 Cia exams out of which the best 2 exam scores will be considered for internal assessment and then followed by final semester examination which consists of 100 marks out of which 50 will be considered for overall grading. This is the exam structure
