Remarks :

Only Government University in WB which teaches architecture. And the faculty and placement is also good here.It was one of my dream college. And undoubtedly this college gives good placement. Many companies visit here to hire students of JU. We can explore in other field like painting, photography etc. The quality of teaching is really good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

1. Updated syllabus2. Good internship and placement 3. Quality of teaching as we get world class faculties. 4. Extra curricular activities3. Scholars visit our campus. Such programs are arranged frequently.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 7700 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements and job opportunities are good.Reliance, Microsoft and other good companies visit our campus. And hire students from our campus.Our Entrepreneur cell is active.Salary packages offered by them are also not bad.

College Events :

We have annual techfest and cultural fest too. The students arrange them in a good way. We have several clubs which are very active. Co ordination and management of the fests are really good. Every year we arrange such fest and students from other colleges take part in this.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No I didn't applied for these things.Most of the scholarship is based on annual family income. I don't have any idea about loans.But maybe there is scholarship based on merit. I don't know much about it.

Campus Life :

WiFi available and libraries are very rich. Lab equipments are also developing and good.There are lots of seminar hall.And we have well structured studios.Departmental libraries are as rich as central library.

Hostel Facilities :

No I don't. I've no idea about the hostels. I'm in pg. There is a lot of pg near our campus.Rooms are not good enough in pg.It's not easy to avail the hostel facility. It's based on the distance of students home and their annual family income.

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. Companies including Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. have visited here with an average of 6 lakhs per annum offered. The highest package was 31 lakh from Amazon. Almost everyone gets placement here but a very low package. I plan to get an off-campus placement after getting the degree.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.

Education system need improvement

Remarks:

talking about few things. the quality of teaching delivered, educational technology available, facility provided at campus, placement records, location of the college, living environment around college. none of these are suitable or habitable. I may surely not advise anyone to get admitted in this college.
