Student review

Remarks :

Infrastructure can be developed and management needs to be more responsible.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Most of the professors are very helpful and knowledge, they will help you with research work and projects only you need to ask and show your enthusiasm for the same. The exam pattern is 2 internals (10 marks each ) the the finals (70 marks ), attendance (5 marks ) and assignments and other things (5 marks). The exams contain 4 questions in internals and 6 questions in externals.

Placement Experience :

It is good, the placement department is very pro active and tries to communicate with the students as many times as possible and provide the best possible guidance, bit we as students have to take care of our working and discipline during the placement process

College Events :

College has a list of fest,Infinity - the major fest, Tecno - cultural fest a 2 day event with DJ and a lot of events.Aura - fest for 1st years, others years get to get a glimpse of the 1st years. Hostel fest - for all the hostelers at the end of the academic year.Alumni feat - for the pass outs, organized by the college and juniors. Some technical fest like Binary and department specific events too.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure is one time pay for the entire year at once, it can get a bit overwhelming for some people, but one can submit a letter to the accounts department fro the same and can ask for delayed payments or part payments throughout the year.As for the loan also the same procedure.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Didn't opted for any sort of scholarship or educational loan, but people who do have to show papers from the bank for the same ever academic year to the accounts department.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio: 10:3Student/form parties: Annually 4 min.Workshops: Depends on your department.Diversity: Students from all across India, with different race and religion but sexual orientation being only male and female, economic backgrounds are also quite diverse.

Hostel Facilities :

No, but their are different types of sharing hostels, 2 sharing being the most experience (1,20,000+) and the most comfortable too, one room 2 beds, 2 fans, 2 storage spaces, 1 bathroom and a balcony. Then there is 3 sharing same as 2 only the rooms are bigger in size and in the same building as 2 sharing.4-8 sharing is also available but have a different hostel for that and each room has like a common bathroom situation and I strongly urge you never to opt for this as this place has bedbugs.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very helpful, it's on you how you socialize and connect. You can connect to alumni and senior via online mode as LinkedIn too.

Admission :

Have to start with the admission process in July when JU-SET is announced and appear for the exam to get a call back from the college and a scholarship if a rank holder, but can apply into the college directly too via contacting the front desk of the college.

Faculty :

Most of the faculty is really good, being PHD holders and with a good knowledge of the domain they are teaching and things other than that too, they will help you with research papers and can assist you with your project and ideas, as for the classroom they provide a good amount of data which is easily understandable and notes are mostly send via mail as reference books.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is really good. There are many good companies that come here. They ask relevant questions. Many don't take for they wanna pursue higher studies or do work in some other area like me????. You need 80 percentage attendance to take part in placements. They have a different office for placements itself where you can ask your queries and doubts regarding placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The cybersecurity curriculum in Dsu is designed to provide both theoretical foundations and practical experience in key areas such has security, linus and other related topics . With labs and workshops we get hands on experience on real world problems which help us during placement and internship . The faculty and the curriculum are up to date and help us learn the tools which are currently needed. Cybersecurity isn't just about IT it's also related to law(cybercrime laws),business(risk management) so introducing courses related to them can help students In cybersecurity certification is important so helping students to prepare for certification such has cissp, CompTIA and others can help students a lot Coming to the exams it's not that stressful we will have a month or two to prepare and me personally think 1 week is enough to clear it

Placement Experience:

Placement of this college is decent. If students give thier maximum they will get it and the good part is, the college pushes us for placements and introduces many more things for good placements like placement programs. If they failed to give us campus placement, it is quite tough to get off campus placemnt because of the competiton.
