  • Outdide courses are compulsary. And the time limit they give makes you feel likee you should copy and get certificate for it.
  • The locality is so local. Roads and area in hostel is not at all developed

Course Curriculum Overview :

More course oriented , less common exams for beginning of all cs students. Less cs language oriented. The materials are all online, a bit of pdf or textbooks have they provided could help us more. Other than that, all gud

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are all within college areas, really good companies and in collab with intershala, one of India's top internship app(like LinkedIn buy for internships). Need skills, certs etc.... for it. With connections it's even more easier to get internships. So have a personality development if you are an introvert.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is really good. There are many good companies that come here. They ask relevant questions. Many don't take for they wanna pursue higher studies or do work in some other area like me????. You need 80 percentage attendance to take part in placements. They have a different office for placements itself where you can ask your queries and doubts regarding placements.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fee for hostel and college is on yearly basis. For people who got in in normal basis, the fee is 1 lakh. And for people who paid through reservation on NRI etc.. have to pay 30k extra. Then there is 2k fee for staying in banglore something. Hostel is 1.9 lakh per year with water and electricity included. Will not recommend hostel of course, very poor choice and will regret it. High requirements for scholarships. Since I did not take, I do not know the requirements, but can visit the site to know more about it.

Campus Life :

Clubs are really good. Most of the events and programs are organized by clubs. Though the number of clubs are less, they are good. You need to have connection and skills to be part of one. College environment is also really good. Very peaceful and nice with friends.

Hostel Facilities :

Mess is something you will regret choosing. Mess food is really bad, and I mean REALLY REALLY BAD. Got a govt.case against them also once for their food was unhygienic and unhealthy. Would recommend Pg a lot. Livista and other PG are rlly good. Stay in hostel and eat messs and food from outside is another good option to consider.

Admission :

Christ,NITTA were the other colleges I applied. Honestly I wanted to get to amritha but KJC was the final choice. I consider the environment, Educational status, qualities were better. Christ was more fun based and too strict on attendance. And dress code strict for women. KJC though not tht strict, teachers are kind of chill

Faculty :

Teachers are really friendly. Just try not to cause problems to them. Exams are twice a sem. One is mid terms which you can/can not study for it. Other Is end sem exams which you HAVE to study for. They count. Teachers try to pass as much as you can, but less then 12 and all if you get, that's your skill issue. Subjects are relevant no matter what you take. In cs you learn VB.NET, python, C,Stats etc... which is needed. Then you have outside courses from companies that teach you online certificate courses, which is ofc time bound without enough time.

Night Life :

Night life is okayish. Like they will have good vibes at during Christmas, Diwali and ethnic day with the lights and decorations. Goin to college on those times is a vibe on another level. Then you see many hanging out we ith friends and roaming all around. Overall, not a bad experience,

Other Applied Colleges

Christ University | Bachelor of Computer Applications [BCA]

Cause Kristu Jayanti was less expensive and more better in terms of academic areas. Christ feels like a chill college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is not at all relevant, they are still teaching us subjects like c and electronics. For eg - in our 4th semester we have vb.net as our programming language which is very outdated langauge. There were also two language subjects - general English and additional language (hindi,English, kannada) which I think is kind of useless to learn two language in BCA.

Infosys, Deloitte, TCS and other who all have their Indian head quarters here are some of the companies that have seen our potential. We do their projects and have been sticked with the curriculum that is beneficial for them and that is why even BCA students are offered jobs worth 50-60k at Presidency University.

Placement Experience:

They are providing mini internship like projects in the 3 rd semester itself. They will tell that it is 100% placements as all other college is saying. But our skill is the main factor to get the placement.

Placement is available from the fifth semester and seems to be that it is oversold. They don't have as good a system as they claim to is what is generally the opinion of previous students at the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Despite being new combination the curriculum is relevant to course. And since not all students are from science they're teaching the basics to the students who are not from science background. The curriculum is more about practical than theoretical. And they explain accordingly. For now I don't believe there's no need for area of development for this course curriculum.
