Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is prepared according to the University of Kerala and UGC Norms. As the college is having an autonomous status, the examinations are conducted by the college itself according to the University norms. There are 6 semesters divided into three years with two internal exam and an end semester exam during every sem.

Placement Experience :

As our college is an arts and science college there is no placements or recruitments I'm not much aware of the details regarding those fields.

College Events :

College hosts a variety of events including Various National and International seminars and sports event conducted by the respective postgraduate research departments and conduct different workshops to students of different departments and their Faculties. All national and international and major local celebrations are celebrated at the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is very feasible. The average fees is around 10000 for the aided section and those students who receive E grand are not required to pay any fees The college provides students from different strata of society equal opportunity to study the courses of their choice. There is no restriction for meritorious students to study in the institution. In fact, the college have been instrumental in raising the educational standards of all the students from different economic status.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I couldn't apply for any scholarships but the College offers several scholarships such as E-grand for OBC students.

Campus Life :

Every moment of the campus life was memorable. Not sure about the gender ratios but girls outnumbers boys in most of the classes. There are students from many surrounding cities of kollam and there is a rich diversity of religion, economic status and political views. Not much diverse cultural activities are provided by the College.

Hostel Facilities :

No I did not opt for any hostel facilities. Our college does not provide any hostel facilities but there are a number of hostels around the College at a walking distance. Many students opt to stay at these hostals.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college has a strong alumni network. Many have secured prominent places on their respective fields.

Admission :

I got the admission in the merit quota. For admissions the students are required to provide an online application on the official site of the College and then attend the interview conducted on the allocated dates. I opted for FMNC as it was the only college offering Psychology in kollam.

Faculty :

There are enough number of lectures and guest lecturers in every department Well experienced and trained Faculties. Most of them have doctorates and some of them are authors of different academic books. Some of them have post doctoral degrees also. They are helpful to the students and approachable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum contains a vast area of nursing aspects and they include OSKI as a new component of the nursing curriculum which prepares as well enough to face the job interviews ahead. But the time limit is so short that we find it difficult to complete the syllabus on time. As the syallabus has changed to semester system we are expected to write exams more frequently but that is good as it helps as to improve our writing skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Architecture is a tough and time taking course, the syllabus fine in the first three years but later on it becomes hectic. Maybe the syllabus can be reduced and I feel that five years is too long for architecture degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course mainly because of the job opportunities. There is plenty of teaching and non-teaching staff in the college. All the teaching staff has Mastered nursing and all are very talented teachers. The teaching method is lecturing and av aids are also used by the teachers like projectors. The exams are conducted after the completion of each unit. It's an average tough exam to score good marks. The only problem is that exams will be conducted daily and the personal behavior of some staff may vary from person to person.

No campus placement is provided by college because it is a government college. After getting degree I planned to practice in Kerala high court and also wants to attempt judicial service examination. I also planned to join LLM at central University or in Canada. In Canada there are many opportunities for LLB graduates.
