Remarks

Near by college. College falls under the score that I got in my entrance exam. Campus is great. My brother studied from same college soo the review was good enough for me to join in.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is covered on time. But not satisfied with the syllabus. No industrial experience is provided to us. Teaching faculty is quite good in their work and helps a lot.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 121633 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are on an average level. We have E cell in our college which is quite enthusiastic in their work. Alumini seminars are conducted inorder we can gain knowledge from them make proper decision. Our department has 90% placements.

College Events

Two fest are arranged per year. Both the fest is quite good and and managed properly. Cultural team is quite good. Sports events are less organized as compared to the other events. Not focused on physical health.

Likes

College campus is the most beautiful thing and is favorite among the students
College culture, the amount of events and extra curriculars offered are unbeatable.
The learning facilities are top notch, from labs to classrooms everything is great.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have completed degree in Computer science with Al and analytics as specialization, considering that the course is very relevant and industry specific, there are often industry visits and mentor sessions to learn real time. The exams are conducted thrice every semester two exams are of 20 marks each and final is of 60 marks, the diffculty level is easy to moderate and it also varies student to student.

What ISDI is like

Likes

The college has excellent infrastructure and management.
Teachers are a hit or miss. There’s mostly rookie teachers for the first years but as you select your specialization, you’ll only be dealing with a specific set of teachers. Some of them are extremely experienced and some are okay-okay.
The college has excellent industry connections. There’s no better place to network as a student in Mumbai. They have people visiting from all over the world and master classes and talks occurring every now and then.

Dislikes

They’ve increased their intake of students massively. The campus is becoming way too crowded for so many people. They’ve expanded campus into some floors in the hostel which is right across the street.
Everything in the college is slowly getting more and more expensive. They charge large unnecessary fines for things like not bringing your hall ticket or a new ID card or for exam rechecking.
Canteen is wayy too expensive for students like us

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are very good and they have people coming from a diverse range of companies. I am a second year student so I don't know about the exact packages. I plan to identify my strengths by 4th year and get a job in that sector.

Likes

The classrooms are okay

Dislikes

Faculty, their attitude, the impact they put on kids

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I don't think it's all that great. The faculties don't care enough. They don't provide quality education and have no helping nature. The exams were kept online after the covid-19 conclusion because they have taken some code-tantra subscriptions. They compromise the quality of education for their benefit and aim at earning money.

DBIT Mumbai College review

I got into DBIT post completion of my diploma so it was a DSE or Direct second year engineering entry students , I got EXTC engineering in the second CAP round . The college offers Engineering in 4 Branches namely Computer Engineering , IT , EXTC, and Mechanical and students can get admission through either by doing 12th or after diploma . For students who have did 12th the college accepts admission through MHTCET and JEE the cutoff are usually high above 90+ percentile for Computer and IT branch while slightly low 80%+ for EXTC and Mechanical branch. The college has a overall seats of 120 seats in computer engineering Dept 60 of which are reserved for Christian Students. MH-Cet percentile of 97 is required as even though it was lockdown when i took admission the cut-off was still that. Just 20% seats for minorities and thats a good thing as one gets fair chance for admission here....Read More
