Remarks :
Amity University is a big University, so students gonna get all the facilities and infrastructure, there's a pool of opportunities for students growth. I really loved the campus when I visited it's far from the city, away from noise and pollution, a beautiful green scenic campus. Considering academics the university comprises excellent experienced faculties, from prestigious institutions. The classroom are designed as lecture theatre with all the digital equipments. The campus is fully wifi enabled. Overall the infrastructure and the environment is great for a student's growth, lots of sports activities are there, basketball, badminton, football, vollyball etc. Common Gym for students. I had an amazing time at the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
At the time when I took admission, there was a different syllabus pattern, but now one can get specialisation in the course one have opted for. Eg. Btech in cse has option for specialisation in big data, cloud computing, etc.Faculties are highly experienced and skilled, lecture theatre the classroom consists of 60 seating for students. With digital equipments like projectors, smart board, wifi etc. The academic follows weekly timetable just like we had in our school, the syllabus is updated every year, industrial visits are also the part of the curriculum. Workshops and seminars are also conducted for skill development.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I did an internship at NIT Raipur, for 2 months, and got 10000 as stipend. Research trainee.
Placement Experience :
The university brings lots of companies like byjus, extra marks, capitalvia etc. And students are sent to Amity Noida for mass recruitment, there companies like Google, Amazon, mahindra, Accenture, HCL, ey etc. Come to hire students it is a full year process of recruitment, for final year students and fortunately every one gets placed.
College Events :
There are lots of events and workshops occuring now and then, but there are two major events, one is Amity fest which happens once a year, in feb or March, which is must, one shouldn't miss, students from Amity and other campus participate in this fest, showing their dance moves, singing, magic show, fashion show and a lot more, it's a fair students put stalls, like handicrafts, food stalls, charms shop etc. It's a week long fest gaming zones, tambola, robot war many events took palace, everyone enjoys and it's lot of fun on the last of the fest it's DJ night. Another major events is Amity sangathan which is a sports meet, everyone participates for a perticular game, this happens in the month of October. Students who qualifies the final round for the game/sports are sent to represent our campus to the mother campus Amity University Noida. It's a lot of fun students from other Amity campuses compete in this sports tournament. Winner gets lots of prizes and trofies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No I didn't get any scholarship, but if you have good percentage in twelth then you can avail scholarship upto 80%, one can visit the official website for detailed scholarship information, one can even get 100% scholarship if you consistently maintain your Semester SGPA i.e above 9.
Campus Life :
The campus is far from the city, away from noise and pollution, beautiful scenic campus. There are two hostel building for girls and boys, both the hostel has its canteen. The campus is fully wifi enabled. Common Gym for both girls and boys, sports area with courts like, badminton, vollyball, basketball and lawn tennis. Security is available 24x7, medical facilities available, Ambulance service is also available for emergency. There's central library in the main academic building, various numerous books are available for the students. Labs like chemical, mechanical, computer, media, civil, bio etc are there based on the course requirements. The main academic building also consist of cafe longue are for students. The campus provides amazing infrastructure for students learning.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is like a suite, each suite has 3 rooms and common bathroom and washroom for the six members staying. There are no single room, only double sharing rooms both for girls and boys. Well furnished, with beds almirah, study table and chair, curtains bedsheet, pillow everything is provided, each suite has its own geyser. Every floor has drinking water facilities, for col water and warm water. The hostel is completely wifi enabled. The students can get hostel, it's subject to availability, mostly students from outside the state are preferred first, the hostel fees is paid once every year based on the course duration, I had to pay 50000 every year to avail the hostel.
