Entrance Preview :

I have written BITSAT exam and got 311 score and it was the qualifying score to join in Bits Hyderabad campus. This campus is next in line to the BITS Pilani campus and is renowned now.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is good and aims at achieving practical experience through internship programs. In this program, students are given a wide variety of companies to pursue their project work and gain enough practical experience.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship program is good experience. I have joined EBay company in Bangalore related to the IT section to earn a gratifying experience. Stipend of 50000Rs was given per month. Accommodation and other expenses to be incurred on personal terms only.

Placement Experience :

Placements pattern is average. But there is a risk of not getting jobs on-campus as there are less number of companies coming to campus and also the students being selected are very less.Initial salary of around 8L is being offered. Mostly IT companies are coming, like MedPlus and few analytic related companies which are start-ups.

College Events :

College event name is ARENA. Students can actively participate in this event either as an organizer or as a participant. Its fun filled. Event organization can earn few extra credit points an dis helpful in overall grading.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no scholarship offered in campus, that i know of. The entire fees has been paid by my parents by taking a bank loan on my name.

Campus Life :

Campus life is good. The campus area is vast and students can spend their leisure time roaming with friends in campus. It has few private food vendors and food stalls where western foods are also available. This campus has both girls and boys in almost equal ratios.

Exam Structure :

The 4 years of study is divided into semester wise. Each semester has a final exam. And students have to select few subjects each year to earn credit points. The rating are on CGPA basis and maximum CGPA is 10.

Faculty :

Faculty is good and are helpful in clarifying doubts if required. All subjects have experienced lecturers. They complete the syllabus on time and attend to students queries. Also, they provide consultation to students if required.

My knowledge and experience of my campus

Placement Experience:

It's good regarding placements. we will get placements in our final year. The students who have no backlogs and who have the minimum percentage of 60-65 are eligible for campus placements. The companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Sutherlands, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Genpact, HCL, etc will come to our campus. The highest package will be 4l per annum and the least will be 2l per annum. the students from 7 semesters are eligible for placements. My plan after getting my degree is to place in a reputed company and to achieve success in my future.

Admission:

In order to get admission in this institution in B. Tech information technology, the candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board in science stream with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects. The students will have to appear for the entrance exam and based on their merit, they will be selected.

Placement Experience:

The institution provides with good internships and job opportunities for the students. The students are priorly trained for the placement program. Companies like TATA, Mahindra, Wipro etc visit the campus and recruit the students.

Remarks:

Worst college,Worst faculty,very poor teaching. Actually civil is a branch of practical experience but here in this college they don't even teach properly in therotical way and finally one thing don't fall for feasible fee structures. Don't choose this college.
