A pioneer institution

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the course is wholesome and it not only helps the student in hotel administration and catering but also it helps the student in overall personality development which is imperative in one's career.

Placement Experience :

The placement opportunities of the college is stellar as upon the completion of the course, the students are offered lucrative packages from many esteemed institutions. Therefore, I am extremely satisfied with the placement cell of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It costs ?3.35 lakhs for the complete three year, full time, on-campus course at this university. In my opinion, this is not only feasible but it is also justified if compared to the quality of education imparted at this university.

Campus Life :

Several extracurricular activities are organised throughout the year by the college with an intention to make the students learn new and different things besides the curriculum and help them develop a wholesome personality.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network of the college is too good to be true as they are not only successful but they are also very helpful and kind. They take out time to visit us on alumni meets and various other occasions and share some great pieces of advice.

Admission :

I am currently pursuing Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) (Hospitality and Hotel Administration) from State Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Hamirpur. The admission procedure was simple and quick based on the merit of the student.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is immensely experienced and that is what makes them better than the rest. They are always willing to help us in any way possible and they make learning fun and easy to understand.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is updated each year. Even if the syllabus lacks certain essential reading material, the teachers themselves provide PDFs and relevant reading material for the same. The PDFs for case laws, articles, judgements are provided by law teachers to the students so that they come equipped to the classes. There's always a difference between theory and the real world. You can learn and write the exams but it depends on you how you apply the knowledge practically. According to me, the timings for semester exams is adequate. The exams are not at all difficult. You must pay attention to the teachers in classrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the B.Ed course, micro-teaching or going to school to teach children is a part of the course. Its duration should be more. Apprentices in the exam should be kept at the intellectual level and not based on bookish knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would have loved it if we were given more group projects or something And would also loved it if some practical activities were held for our batch, Maybe also if we were taught how to work in the private sector and what are some responsibilities related to it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a web designer. The faculties are quite interesting and hard working and the faculties are good. Maximum faculties are quite good. Some have done MTech and some are Ph.D. holders. Exams are mediocre and there are semester systems and likely to be in January and July.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. I am not that knowledgeable about the companies and offers on the campus. Students having CGPA above 7.5 are likely to get in campus placements. I plan on going for government jobs in the civil engineering sector after the completion of my degree.
