Bhavya's Review On National Institute Of Technical Teachers Training And Research - [NITTTR], Chandigarh

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is vast and has the practical application basis for the exams which are taken in semester mode and also includes submission of research paper along with the dissertation to be completed in order to get the degree.

Placement Experience :

There is placement cell in the college which has both the students and non-teaching staff that look after the placements in the college. There is placement fair organized in the college 2 time a year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is pretty affordable and is about 65,000 pr year which is paid in semester wise. There are merit based scholarships available in the college which also makes convenient for the financially backward students to study.

Campus Life :

The labs are well spacious and all the systems in the labs are well maintained and have latest software installed with high speed internet facility which makes easier to work in the labs and overall culture of the college is quite well too.

Admission :

I filled the online application form and wrote the GATE exam. The admission criteria to take the admission here is through the scores secured in GATE and I got selected so went for the documentation process.

Faculty :

The faculty is awesome here and most of them have their doctoral degrees completed or have done their M.Phil. They are highly talented and have an interest in teaching the students whole-heartedly and full devotion.

MBA students have 2 internships, one being chemical core internship, which is done after 3 year for 2 months which is not shifted to last semester of 4th year for 6 months. Apart from this, there is a 2 month internship for MBA part. Earlier it was 2 months but now it is, also 6 months in the last semester. MBA students gets their internships done, both paid and unpaid included. But for placements, that story is not so good.

Placement Experience:

The placements are just average. Companies come everyday or everyweek. Placement drive keeps running all time. Packages above 10 LPA have very very high competition. Courses have everything to crack a good package off campus. But students aren't studious they don't know anything they just blame the university
