Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum was very helpful for those seeking a future in that department. For those who want to branch off to some other stream, the options available to gain expertise were plenty. The course includes field work and project.

Placement Experience :

The statistics of placements have been improving steadily over the past few years. Many mock tests, mock interviews, pre-placement talks, and placement tests are conducted to make all the students familiarise with the placement process and to gain insight and confidence.

College Events :

The college fests are amazing. Exchange semesters and co-curricular activities are conducted throughout the semester, which keeps your passion up-to-date along with your academics. The faculty are supportive. The campus has a positive environment.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees are a bit expensive but are affordable. The tuition fees are ?64390, the total fees year wise is ?1.29 Lakhs for the duration of two years. The college provides good scholarship opportunities to students in need.

Campus Life :

The infrastructure of the college is great with a well-equipped library and a sports complex. The college library is one of the best. Sport facilities available: Football Ground, Basketball court, Volleyball court, Badminton court, Table Tennis, Chess, Cricket Ground.

Admission :

For admission purpose, you need to apply through online mode. RV College of Architecture offers many courses, for M.Arch you need to go through PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority).

Faculty :

Professors and assistant professors are highly knowledgeable. The teaching methods include various activities like projects, assignments, presentations, term papers etc. An industrial lecture is a part of the curriculum. Industry experts visit the college to interact with the students.

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for campus placement right from the first sem, there is no age limit as such The company's that came in our college were EY, de shaw, Accenture, Ditto, Pedal start, Estudio, Global Montessori, MirrAR, Hikeon technologies, Edioak, progress software, Bosch global software, hope, etc. The highest package range from 20 lakhs to 3 lakhs per annum. The minimum criteria of the percentage of students getting placed are 75%, and it also depends on each company the criteria can vary, some company also considers both 10th and puc percentage as well.

from 4th year students can sit for internships(6 months) 5th year -> internship and placement Companies: Texas instrument, IBM, Microsoft, Google, Amazon Highest package CSE: 2.1cr CTC abroad 90lpa CTC in india (CTC means you wont get the full salary to yourself. You basically get 60% of it)

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements . many companies visited this year like mercedes benz, infosis, redbus, felabela, TCS, samsung etc. alomost 100% of computer science got placed this year. Higgest package this year was 23.5 lakhs by samsung and the average packages are around 5-6 lakhs.

the positive remark about the college is the infrastructure of the college which is good in terms of labs and buildings and accommodations of the students. the negative remark about the college is the placement cell of the college which lacks some way or the other in providing adequate jobs to us.
