Course Curriculum Overview
Our course was designed as such to equip students to deal with the ever-changing scenario of the cinematic environment. In the first year, we learned all aspects of theatre training with a year-end performance of a play project.
Placement Experience
The teachers in the college recommend us to a few of the eminent personalities in the industry. Besides, the alumni of the college are so strong that its reputation gives a boost to the CV of any student studying here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fee I paid in the first semester of my college was Rs. 38906/- Adding the hostel rent, deposits, and other charges the additional fee for the first semester was 40,000/-. So, in totality, the fee for the first semester was approximately near to 79,000/- INR.
Campus Life
The ?daily screening? was a unique part of our life at the Institute. A variety of classics and contemporary national and international films are screened every evening from Monday to Friday either at the FTII Main Theatre or at the National Film Archive of India that provides us with relevant exposure.
Admission
I got admission in the college by giving a Joint Entrance Test (JET) jointly conducted by three institutes to shortlist aspirants for admission in various courses offered by them. I cleared the written examination and audition accompanied by a personal interview.
Faculty
Teachers for the first semester are the same for all the courses combined which help us get an insight into the overall working of the industry. All our teachers are graduated from renowned colleges with specializations.
