Course Curriculum Overview :

The phd course duration is of 3 years. The final year mainly focuses on onfield practical works and industrial training. The phd students get a scope to teach the students of Bachelor of science.each year is divided into 2 semester that makes the tally of 6 semesters for the entire course.

Placement Experience :

The training and placement cell is one of the most vital place in our university. We used to get weekly training classes prior to the placement date. Last year seniors are placed in reputed companies with higher market value.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The phd program comes with the duration of 3 years. The total fees for the the entire course is nearly Rs. 58000. Rs.22,500 for the first year and Rs.17,000 for each of the next the fees include examination fees, admission fees and fees for co curricular activities.

Campus Life :

Our University focuses on equality and quality participation of each and every student. On every event days we can find equal number of participants from both boys and girls club. With vast stressed lands we conduct numerous events throughout the year. We holds various festivals and enjoy with joy.

Hostel Facilities :

One of the major highlight of our university, is hostel facilities. It is quite cheaper as compared to other universities. We have Wi-Fi installed outside our room. University is pro-active when it comes to cleanliness. I share my room with two other guys. We have air conditioner installed in our room. separate study tables with bright lights are the key highlights.

Admission :

I took my admission through the online form submission. Our University strictly follows merit based admission.Within few days of selection I received my joining letter and according to the mentioned date I appeared in the university in order to carry out my documentations and paper works. Students willing to take admission in this university must have a CGPA of 6.5 or greater.

Faculty :

We have the most amazing group of teachers for our batch. They are liberal and are always available for clearing our doubts. We are free to contact anytime. Our teachers are having the most unique style of teaching that makes learning much more fun.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of this college is under development. One should not expect much facilities here because the college was established in 2016 and the first batch has not passed out yet. The laboratories are not up to the mark as there are less number of instruments. However there is a central library which is pretty good. There are projectors in most of the classrooms. The thing one can appreciate here is the cleanliness, whether in the classrooms or in the hostels or in the canteen.

Placement Experience:

As I wrote earlier, the first batch has not passed out yet. There is no placement officer in our college. A few students from here secured off-campus placements. But most of those went to CSE and ECE. The highest salary package offered was 1.3 crore which went to CSE.

Remarks:

First of all i liked the discipline of the college. And its student friendly environment. And the most that i like in this college is the friendly behaviour from the faculty as well as the non teaching staff. I love our college library. And love to spend time in the library studying books or even studying online through college computers. Overall the study environment is also very good.

There are tons of companies who have visited our college for placement and the placement record is quite good.

I always dreamt of going to Xaviers. ItÕs such a good college. One of the best in our state. Being a Xavierian opened quite a lot of doors in my career. It helped me shape who I am today. Extremely good environment and great teachers. Lots of co curricular activists.

Well I didnÕt sit for college placement as I wanted to move to a new city. But as far as I know, companies provide jobs within the city that is in Kolkata itself. Out of state placement doesnÕt really happen.

The course I have opted for has one of the best faculties in this college over West Bengal. We have 2 Ieee student society in this college in which students can easily be part of and enhance their skills. The placement cell of our college is highly reputed as they always bring in the best companies for campussing. (Including core companies). We have excellent lab facilities where we can work upon our projects. From this college numerous students have participated in hackathons( including national levels) and bagged prestigious positions. We have an MHRD facilitated research lab.

I took WBJEE, it is the state level examination conducted by the West Bengal University of Technology. I scored a rank of 14373 in that entrance exam. I opted this particular college because after getting the rank.

Every year college calls MNC companies for placements in our college campus and also send us to other college for the pool campus. The first company which comes to our college is Tata Consultancy Service who took around 100 students with a package of 3.25 LPA.
