Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is narrowed down and only related to the subject unlike my UG course. The curriculum feels a bit overwhelming but once you understand the concepts it will be very easy to study and score well in the exam. The lab classes are scheduled thrice in a week and sometimes it would be hectic.
Placement Experience :
The placement opportunities are good, the institute has good connections and they invited many reputed companies like TCS, BRAHMOS etc during placement period. The college didn't provide any internships but students were expected to do internships in companies during semester holidays so that they can gain more experience.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure was moderate and reasonable. The two year course would come around 3 lakhs and with that the hostel, mess fee, exam fee, and other charges will then lead to around 4-5 lakhs. The fee is paid year wise and not semester wise and penalty will be given if the payment is not done on the expected deadline.
Campus Life :
The college conducts many workshops and activities for its departments, they have annual meet, sports meet, culturals, farewell and freshers parties are all conducted. They have NSS club and also anti-ragging club as the college is completely against ragging and bullying.
Admission :
I did my UG on aeronautical engineering and cleared it with distinction. I wrote my gate exam in the year 2014 and cleared it with a decent score. I was always interested in aerospace a bit more so I decided to do my masters on aerospace engineering. The admission was easy once you become an eligible candidate and you just have to provide all the documents and gate score card for further process.
Faculty :
The faculty members are very cordial and helpful. They clear all the doubts and also make sure the class students are interacting and attentive. They conduct lots of assignments and seminars so that students are well versed with all the topics.
