Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum was well updated and structured properly. The portions didn't feel heavy or overwhelming. The labs were conducted often and most of the days were hectic as this field is completely research oriented. The exams were conducted monthly like assignments or cycle test.

Placement Experience :

In our department the placements were fine and most students got jobs in the government field. During the college days internships were compulsory for the students and they were asked to do internships in companies for better exposure. The college didn't provide any internship.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure were feasible and if your gate score is decent you'll get monthly stipend from the central government around 12k per month too. The are other fee apart from academics which are also feasible. The fee is paid yearly and not semester wise.

Campus Life :

There is an indoor and an out door games, sports day are conducted, there are many clubs like debate club, dance club, music club. They also conduct culturals, annual day, workshops and both male and female are given equal opportunities here.

Admission :

I did my biotechnology (UG) in the year 2012 with 80% and also had given my gate exam in which I had scored well and luckily got in to this college. The college asked me to submit an application form online (DIAT) along with gate score. Then after few days I got a call from the university about my acceptance and asked me to submit other documents.

Faculty :

The faculty members were chill and friendly. There wasn't any partiality or inner politics going on and everyone were treated equally. The faculty members were strict only during the lab hours. They are well educated and also give us extra notes and links to other resources so that students students can gain more knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is true, most of the faculty members in our college are good and helpful. They want you to do progress in the research field and guide you well. The curriculum was revised in 2019. Overall engineering students have studied everything by themselves so, the same thing is here as well. The most epic part is that you'll learn from your seniors more than the faculty members. Its an army college, and everyone here is an army brat, there's a sense of discipline and respect for the senior and in return, we get to learn a lot of things from them like robotics stuff, coding, competitive coding, personality development, physical development, web development, you just name it. The bonding between seniors and juniors is nothing like you can ever see even in IITs and NITs. Apart from that, the institution realizes that the curriculum is not sufficient so there are various value-added courses for everyone, and there are no additional charges for them. We have an IoT workshop, Python programming, etc.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the 6th semester. Every year many big companies like tech Mahindra and Infosys come for campus placements and many of the students are selected. The highest package that was offered was 500000 per annum. If you ask for my plan after I get the degree I am going to do a course for 6 months to get skills and then do an internship in a company and then go for MCA.

The 2018-19 batch received over 250 job offers with handsome packages from MNCs while the 2017-18 batch got over 200 job offers. This year-on-year increase in the number of job offers goes to show that MITAOE is improving its placement scenario every year.
