Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum of our college is pretty good and not that bad and generally, the course is completed within the given time period. Exams and labs do not exert pressure on students also as we get enough gaps between them.

Placement Experience :

The placements and job opportunities for our college students is quite good and many students have been placed in reliable and good companies. Our college provides guidance for jobs and internships to students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure of our college is very much affordable and feasible being a Government institute when compared to other colleges or universities. The total course fees that I paid was Rs 41,000 which includes Rs 14,000 tuition fees, Rs 4,000 as exam fees and Rs 20,350 as other fees for a total 2 years duration.

Campus Life :

In the name of extra-curricular activities our college organizes various sports tournaments, seminars, convocations and other related workshops as well. We also have annual sports like cricket, football etc competitions every year here.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, I have opted for Hostel, and I would rate it a 7 out of 10. We have broadband connection with 24*7 internet connectivity inside the hostel campus. We have a multi-gym and a number of other exercise equipment in hostel. The mess is very hygienic providing good food.

Admission :

I got admission in this college on the basis of merit. As I had completed +2 in Science, So I applied for various colleges or universities in the state and outside the state as well. As my name was on a merit list in this college for particular subjects, I took admission here.

Faculty :

The faculties are very good and knowledgeable who are also particular about course and believe in punctuality. Their method of teaching is very innovative and efficient which can be understood and easily grasped by students.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for campus placements. The different companies that are our recruiters are Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys, Cognizant, Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services etc. The highest package offered last year was 18 LPA and we have a placement rate of 89 % as of last year.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, the students are eligible. TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, Infosys, BYJUS. And many others Highest 10lpa, an average of 3.5 LPA. 75%-80% of students get placed in various companies. Get a good job in a company and be successful.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of this college is under development. One should not expect much facilities here because the college was established in 2016 and the first batch has not passed out yet. The laboratories are not up to the mark as there are less number of instruments. However there is a central library which is pretty good. There are projectors in most of the classrooms. The thing one can appreciate here is the cleanliness, whether in the classrooms or in the hostels or in the canteen.

Placement Experience:

As I wrote earlier, the first batch has not passed out yet. There is no placement officer in our college. A few students from here secured off-campus placements. But most of those went to CSE and ECE. The highest salary package offered was 1.3 crore which went to CSE.

Remarks:

First of all i liked the discipline of the college. And its student friendly environment. And the most that i like in this college is the friendly behaviour from the faculty as well as the non teaching staff. I love our college library. And love to spend time in the library studying books or even studying online through college computers. Overall the study environment is also very good.

There are tons of companies who have visited our college for placement and the placement record is quite good.

Remarks:

I always dreamt of going to Xaviers. ItÕs such a good college. One of the best in our state. Being a Xavierian opened quite a lot of doors in my career. It helped me shape who I am today. Extremely good environment and great teachers. Lots of co curricular activists.

Well I didnÕt sit for college placement as I wanted to move to a new city. But as far as I know, companies provide jobs within the city that is in Kolkata itself. Out of state placement doesnÕt really happen.

Remarks:

The course I have opted for has one of the best faculties in this college over West Bengal. We have 2 Ieee student society in this college in which students can easily be part of and enhance their skills. The placement cell of our college is highly reputed as they always bring in the best companies for campussing. (Including core companies). We have excellent lab facilities where we can work upon our projects. From this college numerous students have participated in hackathons( including national levels) and bagged prestigious positions. We have an MHRD facilitated research lab.

Entrance Preview:

I took WBJEE, it is the state level examination conducted by the West Bengal University of Technology. I scored a rank of 14373 in that entrance exam. I opted this particular college because after getting the rank.

Placement Experience:

Every year college calls MNC companies for placements in our college campus and also send us to other college for the pool campus. The first company which comes to our college is Tata Consultancy Service who took around 100 students with a package of 3.25 LPA.
