Best college for career

Entrance Preview :

I joined HITS through direct Counselling process with 88% cutoff, by that time it was Hindustan college of engineering not HITS. Now an entrance exam called HITSEEE has been conducted for selection process. I heard from juniors standard of exam is equal to AIEEE exams.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have joined "Aeronautical Engineer" HITS is theeeee best university for aero related courses in South India. Faculties, Aero labs, virtual labs, Central library are awesome. If you are really a nerd and want to learn everthing about aero from dynamics, design, architecture, maintenance trust me my college is the best guys.

Internships Opportunities :

Stipend companies I never attended any. But i heard now a days there are arranged for M.E students as part time working lecturers. Undergraduates no idea.

Placement Experience :

One of the best companies with placements infy, mphasis,L&T,tech mahindra, mostly IT tough but if u are all clear and good at communication then fix your career is settled. I got into Mphasis after 5 companies I attended.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As I joined through counselling I was not forced to pay more then 40k. But being university now you can expect 1-2 lakhs per annum. Donation would be there for people ranking less in HITSS. My recommendation if you ready to pay for university donation seeking good career go with hindustan next to satyabama.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Loans are available you can contact college management regarding this, scholarships are available for top scorers, foreigner, sport persons etc.

Campus Life :

Sports what you want from cricket, tennis, volleyball, football, inner games everything available, debates, dance competions and group, NSS,NCC , robatics, aero show etc are conducted so often.

Faculty :

My time professors were awesome friendly, ever reachable, never treated each differently, manivannan, arun are my favorite lecturers. You really wanna learn about something go to their cabin u will not be disappointed.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
