Remarks :

College management was good but they need to concentrate the hoatel facilities and other mess features and bua facolities other than that everything is good.

Entrance Preview :

Lateral entry by counselling. I selected this college in goverment free quota.i came thru alagappa university. I had 93.5 cutoff %. I chose this course because i studied computer technology in vsvn polytechnic virudhunagar. I tried for computer science engineering or information technology course. But my first preference was computer science engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The anna university curriculum was not upto latest curriculum it needs lot of new subjects to be added in our course.we did not any new languages. We had lot of mathematics.

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies came i did not go for any intership. There were many internship programs but there was not any stipend given. Hcl came for internship friends of mine went to internship in other courses.

Placement Experience :

Placements was good HCl,TCS,wipro etc. We had training programs conducted for interviews they were so helpful for us. Placements cell was so helpful to us.

College Events :

Symposium, founder's day, sports day, culturals etc. We had many opportunities for attending other colleges Symposium we had many paper presentation we had great celebrations for onam festivals.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As i was goverment quota my fee structure was so low tution fees was 45000 and hostel fees was 5000 and mess fees was 1500 and book fees was 2000. There were no other extra fees asked to ua by college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes i was offered based on community scholarship for government quota students. But i did get the scolarship as i did not meet the income details required for scholarship.

Campus Life :

Campus life was good but we had a bad hostel with not enough features. We had greay opportunity to meet lot of people from lot of countries i had friends in all part of state.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel was not upto the mark at the time. We had very poor food quality i would rate 0/10 and we had very bad rooms it was shared rooms and bathrooms and toilets were so minimum totally i would rate 0/10.

Alumni/Alumna :

I took over my business after college so i did not have time to attent any alumini meet but i used emails regularly from our Hindustan university. We had facebook group for our college so we get intemeditations from facebook group.

Exam Structure :

Exams and lab were frequent but our faculty dont push us so we will be free. We had many lab classes which was well equipped.

Faculty :

They were good. Teaching standards were good faculty were liberal to us. We had enough faculty for all subjects. We were given regular internal exams for all subjects.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
