My College Review

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum has been changed to meet the current needs of the students. The number of courses are kept more during the first three years, so that students have more internship time during the last two years. The students are groomed for the business environment and to present themselves well professionally. The students are given exclusive training and seminars before on-campus placements.

Placement Experience :

Law school placements are mostly comprised of PPOs achieved after long internships. Most of the students get PPOs from my college. Apart from that, we have firms like ICICI, AZB, etc. coming on campus for placements and taking good number of students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees is worth the academics and facilities provided by the college. The college also has numerous scholarships for deserving students. No additional fees or charges are required to be paid to get an admission to the college. The admission is purely based on a student's merits. We have to pay 40,000 INR per year.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio of my college is almost 3:1. The college has a student body which consists of numerous cells and committees for students to be a part of. Students from different states are also a part of the student population. There is no discrimination amongst students. The seniors are the best part of the college and there is no ragging in any form.

Alumni/Alumna :

My college has a wide alumni network across professions like legal, CA, CS, music artists etc. The alumni are very helpful and have reached out to the college on various occasions. Regular alumni meets and lectures by alumni are conducted.

Admission :

The college provide admission to the student on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th examination. A written test is also conducted on the basis of which the admission is offered . You can visit the official website of the college for admission form filling .

Faculty :

The faculty for each of the subjects is well-read and has really good knowledge about his/her subject. The lectures and modules made by the faculty are extremely relevant to the current scenarios and are updated yearly given the changes in the legal system. The college has a mix of permanent and visiting faculty which helps bring industrial insight.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. Companies including Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. have visited here with an average of 6 lakhs per annum offered. The highest package was 31 lakh from Amazon. Almost everyone gets placement here but a very low package. I plan to get an off-campus placement after getting the degree.

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Remarks:

talking about few things. the quality of teaching delivered, educational technology available, facility provided at campus, placement records, location of the college, living environment around college. none of these are suitable or habitable. I may surely not advise anyone to get admitted in this college.
