Best college in every aspect whether it is study or for doing extracurricular activities.One will get so much exposure for confidence building and self development.College management helpful and supportive.

Entrance Preview :

IIT JEE and BITSAT. I scored 337 out of 450 in BITSAT Online examination. Out of various courses at Bits, I opted for mechanical due to my keen interest in automobiles. For admission I have to clear to cut off percentage for mechanical. Cut off was 332 marks for mechanical.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was a 4 year course. 2 semester every year. There are total 6 subjects that we have to study in every semester. Unique feature of Bits is that for every semester in the beginning we have to prepare timetable ourself.

Internships Opportunities :

College internship was very good. At the end of 2nd year I went to Tehri hydro development corporation limited in Tehri, uttrakhand for internship. No stipend offered in that internship but that training developed lot of confidence in me. In 4th year I went for a internship in Bangalore. During this internship I got stipend of Rs 12000 per month.

Placement Experience :

Placement was excellent. Almost 100% students got placed. So many companies participated in placement process. Companies like tata motors, mahindra and mahindra, johndere, tat steel, iocl, bhel, hpcl, bpcl etc visited for placment and they offered package of around rs 6 lakh (average)

College Events :

Sports festival name is BOSM. It is celebrated in September. Culture festival name is Oasis. Celebrated in Oct end. Colleges from all over India participated in these festivals.Oasis is one of the best college fest that is being celebrated all over India.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Semester fees was 36000. Not expensive. Also there was provision of scholarship for needy students. If family salary is less than 300000 lakh per annum then there was a rebate of 50% in total fees

Campus Life :

Campus life was awesome.Lot of departments and clubs for doing all kind of cultural and recreational activities related to fest of college. In college all kind of facilities for doing extracurricular activities like sport center for playing badminton, squash, tennis, table tennis, volleyball. Swimmibg pool for learning swimmingGym for physical fitness

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels were excellent. Each and every facility was available in hostels like common room with TV, carrom boat, table tennis table. Also volleyball and badminton court available. Mess food was good. Lot of varity on food. Also food quality excellent

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

College seniors were supportive.There is community by the name of BITSAA where you can interact with all alumni of Bits and take any kind of help.3 - 4 times I got a chance to interact with alumni of 1975 and. 79 batch.

Exam Structure :

3 times every semester we have to go through exam. In between there were surprise test and lab test.

Faculty :

Faculty was very gentle and helpful. All are well educated and supportive. Faculty guide their students at each and every step. Guide us for value of study and good ethics in life.

"Inside LNMIIT" : A Comprehensive College Review

Placement Experience:

Placements here are good enough. A large number of registered students placed every year but last year due to recession insitute placements dropped down from around 95 percent to 70 percent, and this thing happened in every college even in IIT's. some students got placed but did not accepted the offer due to low CTC. and the average package was also dropped last year. Highest CTC offered was around 50 lpa and average CTC dropped down to 11 LPA from 15 LPA last to last year. There are various companies came to our college including Media.net, D.E. Shaw, BNY MELON, AMAZON, FLIPKART, EAGLEVIEW, ION GROUP, TEKION CORP, SCHLUMBERGER, HONDA CARS, DELOITTE, IBM and many more, number of offers made for 2024 batch was 330 as per the placement cell data. and from 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements. My only plan is to get a decent placement in a tech company and no further study plans I have.

Good Placements and Social Life in College.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd and 4th years students can become eligible for placements. there are many companies visited in my college like infosys, wipro, tcs, tech, Microsoft, flipkart, accenture and all. 75% of students got placed. my plane is not only for getting degree my dream is to become a Software Engineer. Highest package is 45LPA and Average package is 10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So basically btech is a 4 year course and there are 8 semester,2 sem for each year. As they need to provide 6 month for each sem according to our calculations but they'll only provide u 4 month for each sem which leads a mental disturbance for students coz there are so many exams in every month of the sem so this is hectic but the examination are not so hard and not so easy and also 75 percent attendance is mandatory for all to sit in exam

Placement Experience:

As earlier said there is a lot of upper hand in terms of placements if we compared it with other private institutions, BITJ has a very good placement cell especially made for Btech placements students starting from 6th sem onwards sitting in cell visited by many different companies with a lot different package. The average package of BitJ is about 900000, especially for the CSE branch and highest, go upto 30lac more depending on individual skills and qualities and about 80-90 % of students got placing every year and the rest go to higher studies n all.
