Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is designed to make us perfectly qualified to handle jobs at the best of places. The curriculum covers every important detail that would help us understand the minute details of the field. Examination are held, both theoretical and practical to ensure that we understand everything perfectly. Industry visits and internships are an important part of the curriculum.

Placement Experience :

Graduating from Munnar Catering College, we got placed in some of the best hotels, for example Brunton Boatyard, Casino Hotel Cochin, Club Mahindra Kumarakom, Fort Munnar, Green Park Chennai, JW Marriott Dubai Marquis Main, La Meridien Coimbatore. Internships are also provided to help us gain some real-world experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The three year Bachelor's course costs about 3.4 lakh rupees, with a further 96,000 rupees per acacdemic year for hostels. It is not too expensive, and is actually affordable for most of the prospective students.

Campus Life :

Yoga, meditation and martial arts are popular in the campus, with a fantastic atmosphere promoting these. There are sports facilities available for basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc. There is a high-tech gymnasium, swimming pool, and an amphitheatre. There is a Green Energy team and an Oxford English club for those who have an inclination towards either. A Buddy system sees every new student provided support by two seniors and a faculty member, which helps in acclimatising quickly.

Hostel Facilities :

Munnar Catering College is a 100% residential campus. The facilities available inside the campus are great, with many activities that students can participate in. The hostels are in fairly good living conditions. There are strict anti-ragging restrictions in the hostels and in fact, on campus. there are wifi and quick-pay facilities available.

Alumni/Alumna :

The success of the alumni provides inspiration to the students. The seniors are very helpful. They help new students acclimatise with the environment on campus quickly by helping and supporting in any way they can. There is no ragging, and overall it is a friendly, supportive relationship between seniors and juniors.

Admission :

The All India Joint Entrance Examination conducted by NCHMCT is the examination through which I was eligible to apply to Munnar Catering College. The exam can only be given after passing 10+2. Application for admission is either online or through filling out the form and submitting it physically.

Faculty :

The faculty members are all very helpful. They correct our mistakes and help us improve on them. They share their experience, and we learn the finer details of the trade from them. Their advice and nurturing have been very important in life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum contains a vast area of nursing aspects and they include OSKI as a new component of the nursing curriculum which prepares as well enough to face the job interviews ahead. But the time limit is so short that we find it difficult to complete the syllabus on time. As the syallabus has changed to semester system we are expected to write exams more frequently but that is good as it helps as to improve our writing skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Architecture is a tough and time taking course, the syllabus fine in the first three years but later on it becomes hectic. Maybe the syllabus can be reduced and I feel that five years is too long for architecture degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course mainly because of the job opportunities. There is plenty of teaching and non-teaching staff in the college. All the teaching staff has Mastered nursing and all are very talented teachers. The teaching method is lecturing and av aids are also used by the teachers like projectors. The exams are conducted after the completion of each unit. It's an average tough exam to score good marks. The only problem is that exams will be conducted daily and the personal behavior of some staff may vary from person to person.

No campus placement is provided by college because it is a government college. After getting degree I planned to practice in Kerala high court and also wants to attempt judicial service examination. I also planned to join LLM at central University or in Canada. In Canada there are many opportunities for LLB graduates.
