Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is smooth and well formed. You will never feel the burden. There is focus on research and the exams are held at the end of each Semester with enough gaps in between for preparation.

Placement Experience :

The college offers internships to students. A lot of Students get placed when companies like Cipla, WNS, Axis Bank visit the campus for recruitment. Good salary packages are provided of about 3-4 lakhs.

College Events :

If you aren't from Eastern India You will love it here. There are so many festivals and they are so good. You will enjoy them. There are also other festivals celebrated. It's a whole lot of cultural diverse .

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The Fees is very low about 3000 for one year. For a 3 years course which was mine it was 10000. The fees for other courses is also low. You have to pay a little more for management and other facilities.

Campus Life :

The college is diverse with students from different states. There are socities and associations for them. For different interests of students there are various clubs. I am the part of the sports club.

Admission :

Admission in the University is merit based. You first have to fill the form online or offline for your desired college. You get college and courses if you fit the eligibility which in my course was 45%. After the cut off list is out you can know if you get in. I got my name in the first merit list.

Faculty :

The college has highly qualified professionals teaching with work experience of about 7 years. They are very helpful and Interacting. They will help you get through each and every problem and help in enhancing their skills.

A university in the Himalayas.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since the most important aspect of our course is field Work, what can be better than experiencing field Works in the Himalayas. Himalayas are the best place to apply your theoritical knowledge to the field. Not only field living in Himalayas means every single second you are watching and learning something about Geology. Improvement can be done in increasing the numbers of field works, we go for 14days field training twice in the course.

Reviewing Himalayan pharmacy institute

Placement Experience:

There is 100% placement in the college after completing Bpharm course. In 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Mankind, alkem, alembic, aristo, zuventus, cipla , these companies visit the college for on campus placement. There are approx 20 numbers of offers are provided from the industries. 90% of the students get placement. My plan after getting degree is to go for higher studies in the same field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS was always my dream course. SMIMS has the highest faculty: student ratio as much as I have read about. All the faculties have specialization in their field, Mostly MD, DM, Ph.D., and also MBBS. We usually have 2 sessional exams, 1 pre-University and 1 University exam in a year, and many small formative assessments and tests throughout the year. It is quite easy to pass those exams if one is really dedicated to studies.

Remarks:

There was no factors as such, we were alloted the college depending on our marks and reservations by sikkim govt. itself. However, talking about the college,our college is nice both academically and extra curicular activities wise as well. And as for opting this course is because it was and is that I have always aspired to become a good doctor.

Placement Experience:

Many alumnjs of our college are doing very well, in the country and also in some other countries. Many of them are now the teaching staffs as well. Many have become very good aurgeons as well.
