Entrance Preview :
AIEEE 2011 Interest in Computer Engineering and disinterest in Mech Engg. No interviews were conducted. Admission was solely on the basis of All India Rank in AIEEE.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It was pretty decent. Not so advanced and not very poor.Electives offered were less in number. Computer Graphics, Object Oriented Technology, Wireless Networks, Parallel Processing were some of them.
Internships Opportunities :
No company came for internship in college. We had to apply on our own. Students got interships in IIT's Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras via several mediums. The average stipend was Rs 2500/- per month.
Placement Experience :
All the students eligible for placement were placed in pretty good companies. Infosys was the major recruiter with almost 200 students.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is feasible. Educational loans are easily available since the college is a national level collegeIt is similar to all other NIT's and can be easily found on the net. It was approximately Rs 38000/- per year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Merit cum means scholarship for economically weak students. Interviews are conducted for students and the needy ones are provided help.Apart from this I have no other information.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumini network is good.The behaviour of seniors varies from person to person. Good people behave kindly while the bad ones may even go to the level of discouraing you from doing a good task.
Exam Structure :
It was chilled out. Only 1 midsem and 1 endsem exam was held. Practical exams would be held once before end-sem exam.
Faculty :
The ratio of good to average to bad faculty in our college was 2:3:6. The good professors were really good at teaching. The average ones taught the class pretty decently but not good enough so that everyone could understand.
