Entrance Preview :

At the time of my admission the selection was done on the basis of 12 std marks for the state quota children and for other state children it was done through JEE.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum was a very competitive one. It has enabled me to crack all the interviews till date. Multimedia Communication Technology and Multimedia Communication Technology were electives offered to the students of electronics.

Internships Opportunities :

No, when I was doing engineering at that time internship was not provided but may be now a days it is provided. So, I can not comment much on this section .

Placement Experience :

The campus recruitment was very good. Many good companies like wipro, satyam, forbes marshall, TCS, Tata motors, Synte, DRDO, Infosys, tech mahindra, Kirloskar group , etc visited our college for selecting students of third and final year and the packages offered were around 2 to 2.5 lacs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Recently the fees charged is around 125000 per annum for the open category students and for the SC/ST it is around 100000 per annum. Also for economically backward classes there is some fee remission.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college does provide scholarships to the economically backward sections but i have no idea on this. also am totally unaware of the loan facilities.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, the alumni network is good enough though i am not a part of it. Yes they are helpful to the juniors in many ways.

Exam Structure :

The exams were held twice a year as it is a semester system and apart from that unit tests were conducted twice in a semester for each subject. The practical exams also were conducted at the end of each semester and the practical sessions were very informative and interesting.

Admission :

The admission process was a centralized one from Ahmedabad for all the gujarat state students. The form was available right after our results from the college. And we had to go to BJ medical college for the admission process.

Placement Experience:

In fourth years students become eligible for campus Placements. Popular companies that visit this campus are Reliance, Adani ,Wipro and TCS etc. placememts are not that good.Highest package was 45 LPA and average package is 4-5 LPA.

Reflections on my college experience: A comprehensive review.

Placement Experience:

From 6th or 7th semester, students getting paid and unpaid internships which helps them to connect with industry professionals and it helps them to get there placements from there internships itself. Marwadi also provides campus placements, here the average placement package is 6LPA. Companies like Amazon, Google, TCS , Gopal, Sun pharma, and many more companies are visiting every year . The highest placement is offered by Amazon is of 35LPA. About 80% of students are placed among the visited companies every year. My plans is to go for masters after getting the bachelors degree.

Life at IIT Gandhinagar

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered in third year for internships and fourth year for jobs. Barclays, Infosys,TCS, Deloitte and they offer a lot of opportunities. For my branch that is computer science the average package is approximately 30000 and highest package 82000 CTC. In our branch 95 percent of the students are placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get placed in a good company at a good position.
