Christina's Review On Lady Hardinge Medical College - [LHMC], New Delhi

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very good in our college. The whole course spans upto 4.5 years and then a year of compulsory Internship. This way it is made sure that we understand and learn the theoretical as well as the practical aspects of the study.

Placement Experience :

Our college doesn't focus that much on providing placements to us, although we do have a compulsory Internship for one year which we get through our college with healthy stipend. The experience is also really good.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Since this is a Government backed institute, the fee structure is very feasible. The total fee for the five years of the program comes to be 7000 with 1400 per year being the tution fee. When we compare it to other colleges in India with such level of education, we see that their fee is tremendously high than ours.

Campus Life :

Although the infrastructure of the buildings could be improved, the labs are really good. They are fully equipped with all the modern tools and equipments. Along with that, there are a lot of societies in college too, where you can develop your skills other than studies, too.

Admission :

The admission process in our college is based on one's marks in NEET examination. Our college has Delhi University quota which accounts to 85% of the seats every year and the rest are for All India students.

Faculty :

The faculty of our college are all people who hold prestigious degrees, along with years of experience in teaching MBBS students. They are always ready to clearify any queries that we might have, any time of the day. They make the learning process much more easy and fun

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum was to the point. Everything was explained nicely in books provided to us and faculty, teachers were very good. They were passionate about their job . I personally had no problems with timings or frequency of exams. I can't comment on areas of improvement either.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it is one such course that can never bore you. I have interest in analytical solving and problem solving. The curriculum is much more theory based and doesn't prepare the students much for real world or corporate world applications

Placement Experience:

One of the MSPs of the college is the placement records. The average stipend is 15 LPA which is commendable for colleges in this league. The summer placements went really great and the entire batch got placed within about 5-6 weeks.

Remarks:

The environment of the college speaks for itself. The student body is one of its kind and the college management is satisfactory.

Admission:

The cut offs are generated after you have registered with DU. The process is a smooth process and less time consuming. Once your documents are verified you will be admitted to the college on that day itself. There is a gap of 45 days from the registration date to the date when the first cut off is released.

Entrance Preview:

I got admission in this college by cut off list that University of Delhi releases. I got 85.6% in 12th by which i managed to pass the cut off marks. I opt for this college after I heard about it by some of my elders that the science faculty of this collage is really very good.

Admission:

After i saw the cut off list and observed that I am eligible to take admission in this college, I went to the college. Filled up the admission form and submitted to Jain sir after which my documents were verified and then i submitted my fees and that's how I got admitted in this college.
