The course is an undergraduate course so the whole system has to have an overall idea of the subject where the outline of the subject would be given. Therefore the three years program would have internals and semesters along with the practical work at the college.

Placement Experience

The college is well known for the placements at the college as the college gives special importance to the placement of the students. The college would also have a campus pool where all the students are benefitted even the alumni and outsiders are benefitted.

College Events

There are various technical events held at the college and there would be an encouragement program that would be held. The events would be held twice a year which would be a grand event whereas there would be small events which would be held at the college auditorium.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee in the college would be according to the norms of the state university and allocation would be done in that way. The fee would be collected once each semester and there would be fee wavering at the college there would be scholarships provided at the college.

Campus Life

There is numerous certification at the college and they would also help you completion of value-added courses. The skill development courses would be held at the college and this would be useful in the profile of the students during the campus of the college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni are notable but they would not be always interactive rather they would be available at the times of need. The alumni would also take part in all the activities of the college curriculum and the internals of the college. The college would help the alumni to get into their core field,

The college has an official website where the application form would be available and the application should be filled at the due course of time. Then the merit list would be selected, the merit list would be based upon the school grades and then the qualifying exam held at the college.

Faculty

The faculty in the college are mostly doctorates and they would be well experienced. Mostly the natives are given first preferences so that they would be benefitted. The faculty would always provide a practical system where they would help the students in academics.

Fixed timetable Classes, regular assessment and class test
The professors are very qualified and their teaching style is excellent.
A lot of books are available in the main library as well as in the department library

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus and curriculum of Calcutta University is aligned with other entrance examination (eg.IIT JAM, JEST, TIFR, GATE etc.) Specially for the Physics BSc course. And the syllabus is updated Artificial intelligence bacis, Python Advance level is in syllabus, it's completed in college. Point to be Noted - The time given to prepare for the exam is sometimes ample but sometimes it is very less. So we have to prepare syllabus in time which is little bit frustrating.

One of the things i liked the most was the quality of lecture given by the professors
The campus is very spacious the college has every facility
A fully equipted studio and lab for Journalism students

Things i disliked was the most has to be the locality the college is really nice but the locality is a bit shady

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

The Framework is said to be great, with well equipped classroom and simply get to the libraries.
The offices at this college are great. In any case, these changes depending on the quality of the companies going by the college and the victory of the internship changes by the internship.
Understudies appreciate the campus life and flexibility to associate with others understudies. However, there are few impediments such as the division of floors between senior and junior. College life is nice and could be an inviting place for others

Dislikes

The college doesn't have lodging, and understudies must organize their settlement locally.
The college doesn't have a big field to play like any other big college

Placement Experience:

In Syamaprasad College placements and internships are given to the final year students. And the companies that offer placements are Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, etc. The highest package goes up to 20-24 lakhs and the average package goes to 6-8 lakhs. 70-80% of students get their placement in my college. At that time I planned to get the degree and apply to a multinational company with a high salary package with company facilities.

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Adamas university : Path of success

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

College Life in Behala College

Usually usually in my time that is 2023 call you admission was to be held without any admission test full stop the student must provide respective marks of the class 12 board exams related to the course and feeling the website for each and every college they want to apply. Merit list is created on the basis of the marks code from various students approaching the college is number of seats are left then each student gets occupied filling the seat and getting admission. But recently I have heard that our state minister have organised a new website where a student can apply to all the colleges falling under Calcutta University and other University as well by feeling up one form and applying directly to the various colleges. A merit list is created on the basis of the college list selected and seats allotted to a particular college if the number of seats are finished in a desert college without the student getting a chance the student can sit from mop up round upgradation round. Behala college is the only college in Kolkata having a NAAC grade of A++ because of the huge infrastructure and facilities I did not apply to admission do I got in to other colleges because of this sole reason....Read More
