My life at Chinmaya Institute of Technology

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was not a commerce student and studying MBA was one of the tough decisions as I was worried about accounts and decision science subject but the entire course is designed that the fresher like me who did not study accounts in her entire life was able to get hold of basics.

Placement Experience :

the placement is really nice with an average package going above 6 lacs per annum. Most of my batchmates were placed and many of the students also get pre-placement offer. Also, the college organizes the annual internship fair to get summer internships after second semester which also has an average stipend of 10,000.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is around 1.5 lacs per year and it is quite affordable as the placement cell of the college is really make it worth it. Also, the infrastructure and the facility and accessibility to labs justifies the fee given many management schools have the same fee structure but poor placements.

Campus Life :

We have 3 to 4 industrial visits per semester and the workshops, seminars and even the guest lectures are arranged every month. We are pushed to take part in cultural events and the annual fest of the college is also one of the best thing about the college.

Admission :

For you to fill the form, you have to give any of the CMAT/KAT/GMAT management exam and based on your scores in these exams, you fill the application form, if got shortlisted you will be called for personal interview followed by the documentation process.

Faculty :

The faculty was so patient with me as they understood I was not from management background so I was taught like a student of 11th fro the basics. There were a lot of students like me and it was so easy for us to get the subjects from level 1.

The students become eligible for the campus placements in the 6th semester. The average students getting placed in the mechanical department are about 30%. My plan after completing my mechanical engineering degree is to go for masters in business administration

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum contains a vast area of nursing aspects and they include OSKI as a new component of the nursing curriculum which prepares as well enough to face the job interviews ahead. But the time limit is so short that we find it difficult to complete the syllabus on time. As the syallabus has changed to semester system we are expected to write exams more frequently but that is good as it helps as to improve our writing skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Architecture is a tough and time taking course, the syllabus fine in the first three years but later on it becomes hectic. Maybe the syllabus can be reduced and I feel that five years is too long for architecture degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course mainly because of the job opportunities. There is plenty of teaching and non-teaching staff in the college. All the teaching staff has Mastered nursing and all are very talented teachers. The teaching method is lecturing and av aids are also used by the teachers like projectors. The exams are conducted after the completion of each unit. It's an average tough exam to score good marks. The only problem is that exams will be conducted daily and the personal behavior of some staff may vary from person to person.

No campus placement is provided by college because it is a government college. After getting degree I planned to practice in Kerala high court and also wants to attempt judicial service examination. I also planned to join LLM at central University or in Canada. In Canada there are many opportunities for LLB graduates.
