Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is really good. You will the love the course syllabus, if you are interested in learning computer languages and applications. You will learn lots of computer languages, algorithm generation, design, visual communications etc.,

Placement Experience :

The placements records of my department is really good or you can even say excellent. Lots of companies come to hire students. Almost 95-99% everyone gets placed with a really good package. The companies which come to recruit people are like, Robosoft technologies, Mindlabs Consultancy, Glow Tech technologies, Cool minds Technologies, etc.,

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure for my department is quite expensive when compared to other departments of my college. It is quite high as the course offers you a international grade course curriculum and the learner experience is awesome. The first semester fees are around 1,00,000 INR and then from the second semester you need to pay 70,000 INR per semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college provides lots of scholarship offers for students. Actually there are lots. Some of them are that lower income families are relaxed from certain amount of fees from the original fees. The undergraduate rank holders are exempted from the fees and some based on their aggregate marks, some percentage of the original fees is discounted.

Campus Life :

The extra curricular is a integral part of the college. The college will provide a balance with enjoyment and academics. The co-curricular activities include lots of competitions, club activities, seminars, guest lectures and so many other sports competitions.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are good in this college. The college offers hostels for both girls and boys, but the boys hostel is little far from the campus. The girls hostel has all the required facilities and the rooms are really good. The mess facilities are also good and does not have any complains.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network is good and they the ones who always visit the college as reunions. They give us a whole picture of the outside after post-graduation. They never hesitate to share their stories and failures, and can be easily contacted. The seniors are the great. They are friendly and are the ones who assist us in all issues.

Admission :

To get admission, you need to score 70% aggregate in our undergraduate BCA or computer science stream. The college will conduct its own entrance exam, where you will be tested in your English, Maths, Computer languages, statistics, logical ability, and aptitude. After through the exam, they will further evaluate the individual with interview.

Faculty :

The faculties are no doubt super cool and so perfect in their field. They are the ones, who makes this field of subjects interesting and so good. The faculties are easy to make friends with and help you out whenever you have lots of doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed MCA at Nirmala College due to several reasons: • It is a course which is open to anyone who has passed any bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% and above. The only prerequisite is that one need to attend the annual LBS MCA entrance examination to secure admission to this course. • The syllabus of MCA in this college is affiliated with that of MG University, Kottayam. It is a vast syllabus covering various applications of computer science including programming in various languages such as C, Java, PHP, Python, data structures, algorithms, statistics, data mining, machine learning, software engineering, networking, etc. • The course is theoretically good but practically it doesn't really equip all students with enough knowledge and understanding to be placed in a good IT company. Some portions could be excluded from various theory subjects such as Networking with TCp/Ip and Algorithms Analysis.

Students are eligible for campus placement starting in semester 2 Lots of students are placed during study time lots of placed at the end of the semester. There have 70 percent of students are placed during the campus placement. The management gives lots of classes and practice interview sections to students. That helps the students to improve themselves and get placed.

The college has positives in the teaching department but lacks more depth in the arts and other events. They have to keep the events in the college going to attract more students in the upcoming days.
