Remarks :

My experience with St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology was the best one. The beautiful location of the college adds grace points to its positive side. With all the study tours,medical facilities and all the other facilities, this college turned out to be a second home for me. It has given a kickstart to my career with all the good results it forced me to focus up on.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since I opted for B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering it was quite difficult for me to understand the syllabus and the subjects earlier in starting few weeks. But after that with the help and guidance of the teachers and the seniors of the department it became really easier for me to cope with the same. Just grabbing all from the professor would help you out in the internal examinations and the practical lab works.

Placement Experience :

Our department has one of the finest placements. Many companies like Tata Consultancy services,Abasoft,Cntash, Infiniz solutions with salary of INR 26000 and average of INR 18000, these companies offer jobs in IT related fields. Internships are offered after our exams through Internshala as the college is an associate partner of Internshala. Few of them were unpaid but with lots to learn. Training career guidance programs are often conducted by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering takes fees of INR 211000 for all the four years, which is divided into four installments paid each year ,like,INR 61000 for the first year and INR 50000 each for the rest three years. This fee structure is quite nominal compared to other universities.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities were really helpful for students to keep engaged with each other and also to come out of the hectic schedule of the college. NSS, UNAI chapter also sports and games were available that helped students to grab more from different fields and not just be into books.

Alumni/Alumna :

From organising fresher's party to making all the juniors comfortable,seniors if STC are really helpful with all their past experiences in the college they guide us to the betterment of our studies and knowledge. They organise and intend 100%participation from the news students in the college events as well. Few seniors who are already placed in some good firm's, connect with us to help us in every possible way they can.

Admission :

My admission was confirmed with the cut off declaration by the college for the KEAM's entrance examination. I qualified good rank that made easier for me to grab my admission in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course which is the best in St. Thomas College, Kerala.

Faculty :

We had truly experienced faculty members. They helped us with all they can and with all their knowledge. They hold PhD or M.tech degrees and all are well qualified. Their continuous focus on module tests and series keeps everyone into studies.

The best institution where you can excel.

Placement Experience:

The college provides plenty of placements for the students as the college has years of experience. The highest package for placement in engineering is 36 LPA and average for architecture is 12 LPA. Almost 80 percent of students get placed every year,The rest pursue for higher studies. Students who pass out from the institution are given consideration due to its prestige.

Good government University with better placement opportunities, infrastructure and good educational environment. Fee Structure is feasible and the university is stands apart.

Placement and job opportunities are fairly good in my college. A lot of good companies come for placement drives every year but it mostly depends on the student themselves. Companies like cisco,MuSigma, Goldman Sachs, Ernst and Young, Larsen and Toubro and many more come every year.

We had an excellent management team who was listening to all our issues and try to find a solution for them.

Admission:

Entrance Exam. During 1991 there was an entrance examination conduction at all India level and the admission was provided on the entrance exam score. After we have been selected for this course, there will be a small interview process to understand the candidate's attitude and passion. Admissions provided based on the above factors.

A good college

Admission:

After giving the entrance examination called NEET, I apply to this college through their official website where the application form was available and got enrolled for the MBBS course. I was called upon the counselling session and got selected. This selection was purely on the basis of merit.

Placement Experience:

The jobs were organised at the end of last year, since it is a professional course the job but easy to get and we could apply at any hospital. The college?s hospital used to conduct its own interview sessions and most of the students were placed at the campus itself. Many opted to apply at AIMS, Maulana Azad. All of the students used to get placed with an average package of Rs.7 lakhs per annum.
