Remarks :

This College has a great atmosphere located at the prime area of the city. It's very convenient for people to reach there easily. Teachers are amazing. Even infrastructure of the college is one plus point. It comes in one of the best colleges in kolkata and hence I selected this college. And I got admitted on the basis of merit.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Bcom is such a course which have a great advantage. I mean u get vast options for future education with bcom. It will complement you in lot ways. Teachers are good and passing wasn't that tough. They explain you really well. All the teachers are highly educated with years of experience.

Class Size : 157Course Fees : INR 65000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Yes it does provides internships along with stipends. Different companies comes up with different projects and with different stipends which generally ranges from 3000-12000. One need to work there with full dedication.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is available for 3rd year students. Big companies visits and package is around 15000 for training and then salary accordingly. Students generally qualifies on the basis of placement interview and merit.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Well fess is average. It's not too high it's not too low.

Campus Life :

Library is one of a kind. It's just amazing. Like seeing the library will make you to sit there whole day. It's so amazing with lots n lots of books. Inter completion and inter college competition keeps on happening. Seminars are being conducted on quite frequent basis.

Hostel Facilities :

Room was small but nice. 24*7 electricity and water supply is there. Meal quality is average. Menu changes every day. But it's basic food. My locality of pg was RABINDRA SADAN. 11 LORD SINHA ROAD

Hostel Fee : INR 18000 per year

Interview Experience :

There is no as such GD/PI. You will get admission on the basis of seats available n merit. Seats will be definitely reserved for students other than general category.

A Deep Dive into Campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen my specific course (Bcom) because it is more of a comfortable course for me and it's easy for me to understand the course more easily and effectively. Although the curriculum is strong in commerce subject AI, Data analysis, Fintech. These types of emerging technology could also be enhanced. The frequency and timing of the exams are very friendly to students because they get a longer period of time to complete their syllabus and the difficulty level is pretty good as it comes under Calcutta University.

Choose wisely

Placement Experience:

The college placements are low just like other colleges the might have chance if he /she scored good marks in every semester exams and have good skill in their streams .As I told before that I might do MBA after my B.com. The 30% to 40% students are placed by the college . The packages offered to students are between 45000 to 60000 per month.

Review for GCCBA in the best way possible

Placement Experience:

On passing 5th semester, the students of Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration are eligible for campus placement offers. The campus reach out college during our sixth semester to interview us. After passing sixth semester we can proceed with the jobs in case we qualify. All the Big 4s viz EY, Deloitte, PwC and KPMG including with MNCs reach our college for campus placement opportunities. They definitely select students each year. The highest package offered till date is 10 lakhs with a associate profile. The average package is 3 laks. The percentage of students getting placement offer is between 5% to 10 %. My plan after the BCOM course is becoming a successful Chartered Accountant and Cost and Management Accountant.
