Remarks :
Partiality to other students when comes to JAAT community students. Because college has majority jaat faculty and chairman is also jaat. So people call it as a "JAATO KA COLLEGE".
Entrance Preview :
I did not take any coaching for GSGIPU entrance exam. Just studied for 1 month prior to exam making my concepts of NCERT clear. More focussed on chemistry part which had direct questions from ncert books. Thanks to my chemistry teacher who taught me very well during 11th and 12th. I took b.tech because that time i had interest in electrical part of physics that is in 12th class. So i took eee in msit.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is full of interest but it depends how your faculty and university design and access you. In my situation it is only mugging up things and no practical knowledge. So i suggest to not take admission in GGSIP cause you will ultimately become IT engineer no matter what branch you choose.
Internships Opportunities :
Did internship in robotics and it was first time i felt i am engineer. Hands on training is always good than just standing in crowd and listening.
Placement Experience :
Placement for cse,it,ece is always good but horrible for core branches like eee. I sometime wonder why people take eee.
College Events :
Yearly have university as well as college festival. Not that much level to compete DU's fest but good time to enjoy.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Just heard about sc/st scholarship for clearing GGSIPU entrance for reserved classes.
Campus Life :
Ratio of girls to boys is more in IT branches but less in core. Labs are good for IT but not for core.Extracurricular activities are always throughout year by different clubs and societies.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is ok and mess is also good. My friend who was a hosteler used to tell what they had in breakfast or on some festival.
