Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is just normal as such of engineering colleges, research is very less and more of a theoretical oriented course. It will do help in building up a better career. The curriculum do help in deciding the industry and topic of choice. Yes there were few industrial visits organized but only one was best according to me and that was at sardar sarovar dam.
Placement Experience :
Placement is pretty good, there are alot of companies coming for campus interviews and it is worth for everyone to begin with an experience after studies.
College Events :
The culture of festivals and events are beyond expectations and it is a good thing if one want to indulge into extra activities. Huge number of students from around different universities participate in events and workshops. Dhoom festival is the biggest cultural festival of Parul full of international talent and arts.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is a but expensive I think for middle class people but It can be worked on with loan as there is a lot to be learned throughout the course and it is fruitful. Additionally they take cultural fees and industrial visit fees and many other fees which is not at all affordable. During my time it was just useless as they didn’t even made us a good industrial visit or anything. The fees were just taken for the purpose of their entertainment.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No I did not avail any kind of scholarship or education loan. I was totally dependent on my father.
Campus Life :
There is no gender discrimination in any field or workshop or anything in the campus premises. There may be some harassment cases previously which made the reputation of university very low but now I have not heard of any such nuisance and also they are more oriented towards better learning.
Hostel Facilities :
University hostel has many flaws but I dont know about current situation. There is an Aashraya Stay near the university which is a private hostel where I stayed. They provide alot of facilities and fees are also affordable and also the university is just 2-3 Kms away so it is very feasible to go to and fro as if you consider living in PG in city then it will be almost 20kms away from university which is troublesome journey.
Alumni/Alumna :
There was no such work back then but for now they do have an alumni network and meets too which is very fruitful for upcoming students and professionals.
Admission :
Its easy by the method of ACPC council, they generate merit list based on board exams and JEE. I opted the course as I was interested more in electrical domain as it is an evergreen firled of study which is always a requirement for other fields to exist as we need electricity for everything.
Faculty :
Some faculty work extraordinarily based on their knowledge and abilities and rest are normal just do their daily routine work in studies just like writing on board and explaining a bit about the topic. Many faculties are working hard every day to understand topic better and make us understand even more clear.
