My Review

Remarks :

Fees are a little expensive. Overall teaching is excellent.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is very good, one of the top colleges for hotel management in Bangalore. The campus is huge and well maintained. A good place to study. Well framed syllabus, co operative lecturers, well equipped infrastructure, dedicated placement team, in a whole it is one amazing place to step into, to groom as an hotelier. Just not the academics but also the dedicated team of Transferrable Skills and Leadership Development prepares us for all the endeavours of the future. We get alot of choices but MS Ramaiah University - Faculty of Hotel Management and Catering Technology is the BEST choice.

Placement Experience :

All the top most companies arrives for placements and also Abroad programmers will do their joe very well for students.

College Events :

There are a lot of activities and events which are to be hosted and managed by students which gives them an idea on how events work. For example, students have to prepare food and sell food which gives them an idea on how restaurants work and they are completely responsible for the cultural fest ‘Xenia’. Out of all the years I have studied there, the fest has always been a success.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees are relatively expensive. A lot of students dream of becoming hoteliers but with fees this high not many can choose this field. And 40000 is really not worth. We are not paid on time when we go to odc’s (takes around 6-7 months for us to get paid 500-600) whereas they are not very flexible when it comes to us paying them.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes the college has offered scholarships but only for sc/st students. And not everyone here are given opportunities.

Campus Life :

Everything is up to standards. No body is biased towards one another. The teachers are lenient about everything Except grooming which is a good thing. And they are much more open to ideas and open minded compared to teachers/lectures from other colleges.

Hostel Facilities :

No. But many students from other states prefer the hostels over pgs. And from my fellow mates, I have heard that the hotels are hygienic and worth every single penny. The hotel food is also good and prepared in a hygienic place and method.

Alumni/Alumna :

They have always been to help to us. They help us when ever we are in need. Some of them are working abroad right now because we keep getting some nice and trustworthy agencies.

Admission :

I just submitted my 10th and 12th marks sheets and done they will huu if you through everything and usually new semesters starts in august. And my admissions dates was back then on June -July 2016. Overall experience is so good and smooth. Ms Rohini will take care of admissions.

Faculty :

Faculty of this College are very helpful and experienced. You can learn a lot from them. They also provide good facilities and placement at good brands. I would recommend this college to those who wants to study hotel management. The Faculties over here are really talented, supportive, motivating and friendly. MSRCHM college is the best place to develop our career. the environment is peaceful.

Placement Experience:

The campus has an active placement cell. The college starts the placement offerings on 4th year of a student The students get job offers from leading 5 star hotel brands for job offers and internships like Marriott, Hilton , Sheraton, Raddisson and Hyatt. The highest package for a fresher in the industry is 25000 rupees per month The college prides itself in giving 100 % job placements to all the students opting for campus placements. My plan after getting the degree is to pursue higher studies in the US
