Remarks

It's in a state of improvisation. It's getting better. But management is not that good to appreciate. In my opinion best situation to choose this college is when you are from Agra and not getting admission in any top 10 institutes.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Mbbs comprises 4 proff exams. 19 subjects are there. Each subject is important for entrance exam of Pg course. First year is anatomy, biochemistry, physio. Second year is Pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, forensic science. Third proff is Spm, ENT, Opthalmology. Final proff is Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obsgyn, Radiology, Anaesthesia, Psychiatry, Dermatology.

Placement Experience

3

After 4. 5 yr of completion of mbbs you have to do a mandatory internship of 1 yr in which rotation wise duty are scheduled in every department. You can do internship in your college or any other hospital too.

College Events

3

Annual college festival is celebrated: FLAMES. Its total fun, it's a 7 day long mocktail of every kind of activities. And on final day a celebrity night occurs which ends this fest. Previous celebrity: Maninder buttar, Progressive brothers, Shirley shetia, Abish Matthew, Neha Kakkar. And other events like conferences in every department is very common.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's a government college so it's obviously feasible. Admission(general): 24k + 10k caution money. Every year: 24k. Hostel fees: 400rs. Exam fees: 6400 around. No additional fees is taken. Some extra bucks for fest donation but that's not taken by college it's taken by the organising committee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes you can avail if you belong to a category of Obc, sc, st. You have to fill a form and every year they send money directly in bank account.

Campus Life

2.5

There is no such campus life that's the drawback here in snmc. It's basically a hospital everywhere. Though it's at the centre of Agra. you can go anywhere you want to visit in Agra. Extracurricular activities are very few but you can surely enjoy your college life. Gender ratio is approx equal. Diversity is like there are mostly from Up and few from other states. 1 or 2 seats for North eastern students.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, for junior boys: pant hostel. For seniors: Senior boys hostel. For girls : A common hostel (but also mostly live in PGs nearby). Hostel fees: 400rs/month. Shared rooms. recently renovated in girls hostel. Senior boys hostel is very good regarding availability of anything. Pant will be renovated soon.

Alumni/Alumna

Best thing about any medical college is its support from seniors. You can enjoy treats anywhere from your senior. In 1st yr you may feel strict from seniors but gradually they become like your friends.

Admission

Every year NEET UG occurs. in which all India and state rank are released. through that college is alloted. Previously UPCPMT was the exam for entrance but now it's merged with NEET UG only. You can have coaching for this or you can study with DLP courses.

Faculty

2.5

Faculty of every other College than a top notch institute is same. They will come to take ppt lectures which will bore you surely if you are not a bookish kind of person. Rather Clinical postings are the real incentive of being a mbbs student. You have to go for postings to see cases and have to present them in front of your faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Current MBBS curriculum is purely clinical based and hence clinical postings are crucial. It is mandatory to attend them and strict actions are taken if you fail to do so. This curriculum prepares you for your NEETpg or NExT. Exams held are semester 1,2 and pre professionals and then professional. Timing 3 hours and difficulty level is okay. Mostly questions come from important topics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is one of the most respected courses in India so it was always a dream to become a doctor. Faculty is abundant in every department and there are 100 students in every batch with 8-10 faculty members in every department. The faculty in each department is at different position and post on the basis of their qualification and experience. There is one head of department in each department who is the most senior in terms of experience and their year of MBBS batch. Under HOD are two professors and under them two assistant professors. There are 3-4 junior residents in each department. The teaching method varies from professor to professor and some teachers are efficient in terms of their teaching way and helping students understand difficult topics. The course is extremely difficult with lots of stress due to never completing syllabus and diffucult testing exams. The exams are held regularly each month as every topic is completed. Passing in these exams is a bit difficult.
