Course Curriculum Overview :
This is 3 year degree course. Physics is the main subject with Electronics and Mathematics as subsidiaries. The subsidiaries are only for first and second year. There are practicals for Physics and Electronics. The exam is once in year for all 3 years.
Placement Experience :
At that point of time, there was no placements. Most of us are looking for higher studies. Some of them have tried for jobs outside and got selected.
College Events :
We were having all state related and national festivals in the college like Onam, Christmas etc. Apart from this, we have arts days, college day, sport days and other specific college related celebrations. We have different days celebrated for each subjects like Physics day, Maths day etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee is not that much. The students who get admission via management quota have to pay more than the general students. Overall, the fee structure is feasible, not that much. We have to pay for the exams separately. The course fee is different, but not expensive.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have not availed any of the scholarship or education loan. So I have no idea on this. There should be something, but I am not aware.
Campus Life :
This is one of the best in terms of labs, sports equipment and other extracurricular activities. The reason for the same is it is a new college. So all the equipment are very new and the staffs are very cooperative. I have never seen any physics labs with so much facility.
Alumni/Alumna :
As of now, there is nothing like alumni network here. If at all it is there, I am not aware. We have whatspp groups for contacting the batchmates.
Admission :
I have good marks in my Pre-degree. I have applied for their BSc degree course by filling the application form. I have been short listed and informed the interview dates by post. This was during year 1992. The course is 3 years. I got selected and joined on the date of interview.
Faculty :
There are at least 3 faculty for each of the subjects. We can directly contact them. The age of them ranges from 25 to 50. They are all post graduates in the same subject. Some of them are qualified in UGC, but not all. There is a good library having all the relevant subject related materials.
