Learning and great experience

Remarks :

The course is very rigorous, now it is good for those who can manage.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course at NIBM is very rigorous, and by rigorous, I mean it. We have trimester system which incorporates mid term and end term. We do have exam continuously to monitor proper learning. The course coverage is quite diverse over banking and finance. The college has a record of 100% placement since inception, and it is true our seniors were placed quite well in reputed banks and companies. The college also provides summer internship program for two months, final year projects, terms projects and a lot more.

Placement Experience :

I cannot reveal the companies name, but the college has 100% placement record since 50years and along with it fantastic summer internships as well. The recruitment process starts in November in the final year whereas for internship generally the period is may to June. During placement students are well trained for sitting in the interview.

College Events :

Colloquium, All the festivals, annual fest-adhikosh. In colloquium a number of panel discussion are held with inter college competition as well as alumni and industry experts. The annual fest incorporates a lot of cultural and technical events. The scale of the function is not too large but it is sufficient as the batch is only of 120students, including seniors it is 240 in total.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

12, 00000 the payment can be through NetBanking. The fees is well bifurcated. And it is paid from time to time in installments There is no additional fees to be paid other than that in the fee structure. And yes the college is quite transparent in the fees structure and not money minded as some b schools.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have thake education loan under scholar loan. Scholarships are also offered depending upon different criteria.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is quite well managed almost 50-50, workshops are conducted, we do have cultural and a lot many societies, for the cultural society I myself is the head of the committee. A special feature of college is there is no differentiation on basis of "quota" like st sc obc general. it is completely on merit.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes Hostels room are quite good, some rooms are single and some are in sharing, but the size of sharing room is quite sufficient. The hostel charges are only the mess bill which comes around 4k monthly.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network of the NIBM in awesome and wide since 50years of establishment. Our alumni are quite spread all over country and some abroad as well. One thing that is really great is the growth of all our almuni are remarkable in very short span of time.

Admission :

I was quite intrigued about learning the nitigrity of banking in detail. Thus NIBM is the only institute that has always been in the top in providing the knowledge, learning and experience in the banking. I gave CMAT in January 2019, score 96 percentile and got the call from NIBM. I was interviewed at NIBSCOM delhi by the well knowledgeable faculties of NIBM and finally got it convereted. The day I reached NiBm it was and is beautiful, the beauty of the campus is always missed in this lockdown. The curriculum is way ahead. Faculties are quite experienced and helpful.

Faculty :

We have 3 lectures per day. The faculty are quite rich in knowledge and experience and have industry experience as well. A number of guest lecturers from industry are also invited from time to time. The faculty are mostly mid aged and quite experienced. The college is well known for risk management in the banking sector.

Remarks:

ISBM is one of the best private B-Schools in India and also ranked 8th among the 20 West B Schools and 9th rank in Top Private Institutes. The institute is well-known and the program that I wanted to pursue was only one-year long here, all the good aspects such as impressive placements, rigorous curriculum, easily approachable and distinguished faculty members, student-driven campus, etc encouraged me to apply for this institute. For the application process, I had to pay an amount of INR 700 while submitting my application form through the official website of the college.

Admission:

I did had to go through a personal interview process during which I was asked various questions related to General Awareness, Current Affairs, Work Experience, Personal interests, academic records, etc.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.
