Remarks :

They are very student friendly in most of the aspects.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes the curriculum is uder the university named ktu and it is student friendly and also each year they update the syllabus as per the requirement. Exam structure is little bit annoying because we have to attend 3 exams for a single subject during the each 6 month period. But after completing course you will be become a professional through the experience.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience :

This is the chance of getting placed through the campus placement and I also got job through the campus placement conduct in the college and most of them are based on computer science and engineering branch. In the case of internship we have to find opportunities from the outside.

College Events :

There is many festivals conducted in the college and we can participate both inter and intra fests. College conducts a grant event called Daksha Yanthra which will be in every march and this festival will be based on both technical and cutural skills of students and there will be many other stage programs like dj, proshow etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

There will be two types of seats govt seats -35k. Management seat -60k per annum. Payments and acceptable through cash or transaction as per your choice. There will be some other expenses like PTA fund club funds examination fees and these charges will be noticed by the authorities as pwr the requirements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don't have any scholarships but the students have the chance for applying the scholarship as per the government directives.

Campus Life :

The campus Life is very joyful and every student can enjoy a tension free life in the campus. There is politics in the campus and we can support them as per our own choice. Workshop are conducted for studencampus have equal ratio in the case of gender and there is no inequality in gender, race, religion etc. All are equal and free in the campus.

Hostel Facilities :

My home is located near the college so that I sn not using any hostel facility and there is good public transportation available for the students which I am using If the students require hostel services there is many private hostels and home stay are available but there is no college hostel available.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors are friendly in most of the cases and support their junior without any problems it is true for both seniors who studying and alumni.

Admission :

I got addmission through kerala entrance examination on 2016 August. After the completion of plus two examination we can appear for the entrance examination. We have to apply online and then there will be allotted time for taking admission in college. There is management and government seats are available and I got admission in government seat because of the entrance score.

Faculty :

Each course have it's own lecture for each brach. And they are friendly with the students do that a friendly atmosphere is generated n the campus and also they will provide all the requirements we need to study during our course. There is also the possibility for showing our extra carricular activity in the campus with help of faculty.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
