Remarks :

The first thing apart from academics about the college is its beauty. The college is surrounded by 500+ trees and the view that we get from each corner of the college is awesome. When I made an inquiry about the college I came to know about the better results, affordable fee structure, facilities, and talented faculties. So I chose this college. I took admission in a merit seat via KEAM entrance and the total process finished in about 1 or 2 days. The very occupied office gives all the academic and administrational support. I took admission in July 2017. If you want to build up a career with better knowledge, along with natural beauty, and to improve your passion I will definitely recommend this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have a passion for machines and tools so I chose this course and also I am very much happy to be a mechanical engineer to be. The college is occupied with plenty of faculties in each and every category of each branch. Each faculty works very hard to convey the syllabus to us and they are very much helpful. They maintain a friendly approach to each and every student rather than harsh behavior. We are very happy to attend each and every hour of faculties. All the faculties are qualified. None of the faculties are below a Master's degree. Many rank holders are working as faculties to help us in building our careers. Each faculty take classes very effectively and are willing to conduct remedial coaching for backward students. In the end, of each month internal exams are conducted. Weekly unit tests were also conducted. This improves the knowledge of each and every student of the syllabus. For every 20-40 students, there is one faculty.

Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience :

Our campus holds placements from leading companies in India. About 20- 30 campus interviews were run per month. 50 -60% of students are getting placed from the first attempt. Only a few of the students are going out from placement criteria.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure followed by the college is very much affordable. The fee structure for merit students is recommended by the entrance commissioner of Kerala. In my opinion, the fee structure for management quota students and NRI quota students is less in our college compared to other colleges. The college is offering all types of scholarships applicable to eligible students. The various scholarships including E-grants, Minority, Forward, Prime ministers, Samunnadhi of Kerala, etc. are provided by the college.

Campus Life :

Campus life is extra awesome. As I have mentioned earlier that each corner of the college gives you a beautiful nature view and fresh air. Various clubs including Music club, Sports club, Nature club, Photography Club, Etc. are running. A well-equipped library with thousands of books. A neat and hygienic canteen and a well-equipped sports ground are there. Students will get free access to the internet via the fully Wi-Fi campus. All the classrooms are smart classrooms. Respective grounds and courts for each category of sports are provided. A well-occupied Multifunctional gym is there. Separate hostels for boys and girls. More than 20 buses running by connecting major cities and towns.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
