Remarks :

It was a fine time there keeping in mind it wasn't in the metro cities but still decent and quality education.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes, as per university standards. The curriculum was upto the mark. The examination were held in the college with examination paper drafted by the university itself. The evaluation of the examination sheets were also done by the university. There were no industry wide knowledge though.

Placement Experience :

Average, mostly around Chandigarh. We have had guest lectures in certain occasions. I have had no scope on placements.

College Events :

Fresher's party, blood donation camps and expeditions. I have visited certain tourist destination during the tenure. The celebrations were on large scale say for example the fresher's party held each year included across 300+ girls and the principal was invited each year as chief guest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Reasonable. Pocket friendly. The college was accessible to everyone who have had scored well in the 12ty standard examination. Poor to rich with merit can easily be part of the college. Yamuna Nagar is not a very big place, so it was around 2kms to college from hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid :

No, I haven't availed it. The college offered scholarship to merit students or maybe the weaker sections of the society.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio was 2:1. We have had birthday celebrations for friends at dormatries. There were President and vice Presidents for each department. I was cultural head for my department. The president and vice president than plans various event held across the year.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, we have had a mess. Dormatries of 4. Washrooms on each floors and last but not the least two wardens. There were quite a few PGs around and a tad bit expensive than the hostel. I preferred hostels and stayed in it for entire three years period of graduation.

Alumni/Alumna :

There is no such alumni network and may be I am not aware. Please contact the college to find out the same.

Admission :

Yes, admissions are based on the score of 12th standard. Followed by face to face interaction with Head if the department. So, I have had a fair chance of being selected. I choose the college because it is affiliated to kurukshetra university. It has a decent reputation across universities.

Faculty :

Good, patient and knowledgeable lecturers. The age of the lecturers ranged from 27 years to 45 years. They had a command in the subject with years of work experience. Mostly of the lecturers were from the town itself. Some lectures used to give live examples to make learning more upbeat.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom is the course which is easy to take the degree and to give your extra time to side hustles you want to do in your college time. That's why I decided to choose this course. Bcom is the course which opens various fields for you either it is masters or to give entrance test for competitive exams. Interships during Bcom helps you to get good reputated and professional job in big companies. Way of teaching should be improved from teaching in classes to give the real world experience by giving practical experience in companies. We get one hour for unit test exams according to new education policy and it is enough time to complete the exams as per difficulty level.

Admission:

For admission, first of all, I visited the official website of the college in June 2015 and applied by filling the form given on the website. Based on the application they published a merit list and I got selected so I reserved my seat by remitting the fees and got the admission by the second week of July.

Placement Experience:

Yes, this college has a career guidance and placement cell which organizes interviews in different companies. It provides necessary training to the students with different activities like mock interviews, aptitude tests, quiz competitions to help in getting placement.
